Great stay. Staff very helpful. Delicious breakfast. Large clean room. Like everywhere in Cape Town you need to be careful after dark & take Ubers. Walking during the day was fine. We walked to V&A with nor issues. Would stay again

Don't look any further for the perfect stay

This is the only hotel I will stay at in Cape Town from now on. Michel is incredible, as are Chris and Ben. The hotel is located in a fantastic and fun area, the rooms are great, and the breakfast is wonderful. I loved everything about it!

The staff and manager were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We felt very welcome and it was a pleasure to stay there. We would recommend the area as it is away from the commercialisation of the waterfront and you were interacting with the real people of Capetown. A great experience.

Beautiful, large rooms, great breakfast, and kind staff and owner. Located at edge of B-Kaap, which makes it convenient to get to City Bowl, De Waterkant, and many other neighborhoods. Will stay here again!

After an intense work week, a friend and I had 4 days in Cape Town before returning to Canada. Rouge on Rose was a perfect place to explore Cape Town and its environs. The hotel is in Bo K-aap which is a really interesting neighbourhood and very central. The vibe was definitely chilled. The rooms are large and comfortable. Lots of little things done well - lots of international plugs, heat/ac pumps. Staff were fantastic - they went out of their way to be helpful and also had lots of great tips. I will definitely book again if I heard down to Cape Town. Highly recommended.

My experience at Rouge on Rose lived up to the reviews I had read before I booked it. The staff was very helpful, Jean, Michel and Chris were all great! Breakfast was excellent. My room was clean, and comfortable, and the one minor issue I had was solved quickly. You may want to avoid walking by yourself at night in Bo-Kapp.

Michel made us feel so welcome to Cape Town and his passion for this area was infectious. We took him up on many of his suggestions. Lovely friendly staff and day and night security systems means you feel safe. So many great places to eat very close by and just at the edge of Bo Kaap but only a 25 minute walk to the V&A waterfront. We hope to return!

Best boutique hotel I have ever been in

I travel the world, and have been staying in hotels for 10+ years. Rouge on Rose in Cape Town is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Michel, Obed and the team were masterful in their service, information and support. I had early mornings, late night, and needed advice on the area - and EVERYTHING I asked for was catered for. I'm actually thinking of coming back just to see what else I could ask to see if they would achieve it - and I am confident in their knowledge and care that they will exceed expectations even then. Cannot recommend this gem of a hotel enough. Breakfast was fantastic, and everything was done with a smile. Would recommend for solo, couples or groups.

Excellent boutique hotel

Wonderful boutique hotel. We stayed four nights before taking a cruise out of Cape Town in December. They arranged for a shuttle from the airport which was very reasonably priced. The owner, all the staff were so welcoming and helpful. Breakfast, included, was a treat every morning. We cannot say enough good things about Rouge on Rose.
