Amazing apartment

Gerhard was the staff member who helped us. He was amazing!! Very helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. My wife and I didn't want to stay in the tourist area in Cape Town. Turned out to be a great decision. The apartment is just like the pictures. Absolutely beautiful. Ocean views. If you're in town for a week or longer, I recommend getting a rental car. Make sure it's automatic if that is what you're used to. Two malls within 10 mins away. Cheetah outreach (get to pet baby cheetahs and take pictures very affordable) about 6 minutes away. Monkey town is about 10-13 min away. This apt is in strand. Cape Town is about 45 min away ( more tourists area). Lion park is about 45 min away (you get to sleep with lions or visit them up close). Back to the apartment. Absolutely gorgeous! Could of lived there. All kitchen utensils and cooking ware are included. Washer and dryer. Very cozy. Keep an eye out for the meter behind the door in the laundry room. When it gets to 0.0 all power will cut off. (Heat will drain you fast) You can buy more power at any gas station. Just give them the meter number. There is no wifi but at the mall we purchased a SIM card with 3 gb of data to put in our phone for about $24 usd from vod. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit. Thanks

Weekend apartment

This is not a hotel, it is an apartment on the Strand. When we arrived we had to call the rental office as there is no reception at the building and it took them an hour to arrive to let us in. There is no Wi-Fi in the apartment and although the apartment was comfortable it is a bit dated in parts. If you are going to stay more than one week you have to pay for your own electricity for the second week!!! We booked this as an alternative to our usual hotel which was booked out but will in future stay at any hotel rather than do this. The idea of luxury in South Africa must be different from the understanding of it in Europe as this is not what I have come to experience as luxury. It is a functional , clean and well located apartment that is obviously someone's weekend home that they rent out when not using it themselves. The lack of Wi-Fi in the 21st century in a 'luxury' apartment is not acceptable and anyway in their other apartments they rent they also charge for the Wi-Fi.

Beachfront, safe and private and 5 star furnished

Excellent apartment on the beach. Highly recommended. 5 star furnished with excellent service from the staff. We will definitely be back and will stay here again. The apartment is quiet with only two apartments on the floor.
