Clean rooms, nice/helpful staff, shuttle service, chair service and right across road from beach. Small pool was really crowded and there aren’t many dinner restaurants within a few blocks. 2nd year staying here and would still come back.

Lovely and clean property with a wonderful heated pool. Very friendly staff. The staff bringing chairs and umbrellas to the beach is a great amenity. The only problem is bad insulation between floors. We could hear every step our above neighbors made. Made falling asleep very hard.

We enjoyed and nice family vacation at this hotel. The rooms were very clean, staff super friendly and helpful. The shuttle and use of beach chairs/umbrellas with set up from staff added a nice touch. Will definitely come back again!

Motel by beach

Overall good for a motel. Staff was friendly and super quick to check in and check out. They provide beach passes and waterproof wrist bands that open your room door. Pool was good but not heated. There is no room service, no restaurant or food in the hotel which is a bummer when you have kids but they do let you order take out and eat by the pool area.

This was a great stay. Clean and modern hotel, friendly staff and nice amenities. We used a couple of their bikes to check out Cape May. The view was ocean from left to right from our room and the 3rd floor deck was a nice place to sit and watch the water. Also I noticed Hawaiian style music playing in the lobby - it really adds well to the Mahalo vibe. We would definitely recommend the place and look forward to returning.

Affordable recently rehabbed hotel

Bed was super comfy. Sheets and comforter appeared very clean and white. Bathroom was clean. My only complaint was the carpets were stained, and dirty. I know the hotel isn’t that old but I think carpets at the beach are just a bad choice and likely need to replaced each season. Otherwise nice stay for a night in fall!

Great service and great hotel!

The Mahalo is a great place to stay. It’s on the ocean block and offers great amenities like shuttle service and they’ll even put out beach chairs and umbrellas for you! The room was spacious, updated, and clean.
