The property shows well on line. It does have an expansive square footage that practically allows the upstairs to serve a family or guest with separate privacy. It’s a beautiful view down the canal, day or night. However, the rent per night being that of a luxury hotel, things were disappointing. When a chill moved in, the thermostat was locked out to warming. We had to call to fix. The hot tub, even when temps got to mid 70s was not more than a luke-warm tub. The ironing board was stuck closed with a funky latch . We jimmy’ed it open but then could not close it. The dining table had a floppy surface. We had to flip it over and tighten down a bolt. The can opener and bottle opener were not functional. Frying pans did not lay flat on the burner. We bought a new one. The TP was public toilet cheap and thin. Same for paper towels. You’re supplied one even if you’re staying for 6 weeks. Two toilets flush with low pressure so plan to stand there and hold the handle. There is an in ceiling sound system that does not connect to the TV or has some old connection to cable yet the TVs all turn on the Roku streaming. Plan on being very self sufficient with laundry and dishwasher soap, which may be standard, but we have stayed where it is not. As an experience, it was ok. The space made it better for the rating.
