Stay somewhere else. The first room they put us in was freezing and there was a layer of black dirt/dust all over the entire bathroom. They shared this was because the bathroom window was left open. There is no thermostat in the room, and it was 50 degrees. When we asked, the first staff told us there was no heat and the sun would warm the room. We were switched to a new room which was warmer and certainly cleaner. The rooms are VERY dated. This room had stains on the ceiling, and the bathroom floor was warped so when you tried to close the door it made a ton of noise. They do have heat, but it's controlled externally and turns on when outside reaches a certain temperature. During the night we got quite hot and ended up turning the window air conditioner on. The temperature control situation was pretty frustrating. Then in the morning when we went to shower, there was no hot water. Cold showers for us. The owner didn't believe us and came to our room to show us how to work the water. Turns out the hot water heater was broken and needed replacing. We were never offered any type or service recovery or even an apology. The only positive was its location to the main area of Falmouth which is THE cutest small town I have EVER been to! Everything is walkable.

I've stayed here 3 times now and every time has been great. It's a pretty no frills motels, but I love some of the retro fixtures they've kept and it's walking distance to the main street with shopping and food. I'm sure I'll be back again.

Would stay here again

Chose the hotel because of how close it was to the Ferry. Great little town with plenty of restaurants and shopping to choose from, all within walking distance!! Room was small and outdated, but we weren’t staying for long. We arrived at night and left early in the morning to catch the Ferry to Martha’s Vineyard. Staff was amazing! Very pleasant and helpful. We would stay here again.

The bed was very comfortable, the shower was great, the room was very cute. We found it hard to find a restaurant that didn't have a wait time, but we finally got lucky at the 4th try and the food was very good. The best was the location -- so near all the shops and restaurants.

Satisfactory lodging but overpriced

We needed a place to stay after a late ferry return from Martha's Vineyard and this was the closest one available. It was fine for a stay - and might be good for a longer time in Falmouth - but the price was far higher than the lodging warranted. We were there for less than 12 hours but it was the only option. I would schedule differently in the future. Additionally, the office closed at 10 pm but we did not know that until the room was booked. We were able to make arrangements to get into the room but that information should be made clear up front.

It was a quaint little beach room. Perfect for 2 if you want to be in the middle of Falmouth town. Close to the beaches and close to the Martha’s Vineyard ferry. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Quintessential Cape Cod

What a gem! Quintessential Cape Cod of old! The property was lovely and so well taken care of. I appreciated that not everything had been updated but instead was restored. The room had everything I needed and was immaculate. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location right on Main Street in walking distance of downtown shops and restaurants was perfect! Even though it was on Main Street it was quiet and peaceful. I completely enjoyed my stay at the Town & Beach Motel in Falmouth, and highly recommend.
