Welcome to 428 Plum Street, a large historic home built in 1920. Fully renovated in the spring of 2022. Located in the heart of historic Cape Charles, Virginia. Walk or cart anywhere in town from this ideal location. We are located just steps from Central Park and blocks to the Chesapeake Bay and all of the dining and shopping options along Mason Avenue.

The home has 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a large front porch, and best of all a large fenced outdoor space with a full bar, tv and shower.

We had an absolutely perfect stay! The house was spotless, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything we needed. The location couldn’t have been better — we walked to the park and Mason Ave multiple times, and it made our trip so easy and enjoyable.Our kids were obsessed with the Pac-Man machine, and we loved relaxing on the outdoor patio with the TV in the evenings. It was the perfect home base for our family.We truly hope we get the chance to stay here again!

Perfect family spot

We enjoyed our end of summer stay at the lemonade stand. The house was tidy and clean. Listing was accurate and cape Charles was charming!

Great location & great for kids!

We had an excellent stay at The Lemonade Stand. The location was great - about three doors down from the park and a couple blocks from both downtown and the beach. Kitchen had all the needed amenities and we cooked most nights at the house. Has a driveway which is also helpful for the golf cart and cars with car seats. The outdoor area with kids toys is excellent for young kids. There are also baby proof door handles to keep young ones from going to the stairs. The beds were very comfortable and each room had its own thermostat. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again!

Great time at the Lemonade Stand

My wife, 3 young kids, and I had a great week at Marty's place in Cape Charles. Great location just off the town park. Definitely worth renting a golf cart for the week to get to and from the beach, restaurants, etc. The house has been nicely renovated. Marty was very responsive all week.
