Very nice hotel. Big suite rooms with fully equipped kitchen if you want to cook in the room. Superb breakfast included. Very friendly staff. Walking distance to the main attractions. Very clean, overall great stay.

We booked the hotel 7 months out , but we were put in a disabled room. No face cloth , no shower cap, inadequate lighting in main area, a safe that could only be accessed by kneeling. That is not what one would expect for a room with breakfast costing $A 1200 ped day

I am extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. From the very beginning, the staff were shockingly rude and unhelpful. At a 4-star hotel, I would expect at least a minimum level of assistance with luggage, but no help was offered at all. Even worse, during the night there was only one staff member on duty, who himself admitted he couldn’t handle the hotel alone. This is completely unacceptable for a property claiming to be of 4-star standard. What makes this experience even more frustrating is that this hotel is part of the IHG chain, which is generally known for excellence in customer service. Unfortunately, this property falls far below those standards. I would not recommend it to anyone expecting the quality and professionalism usually associated with IHG hotels.
