Excellent location, heated pool, very private
We traveled as a family of 6. We found the villa spacious, relaxing and very private. It was the ideal place to let the kids go wild without any concern for the neighbours. Our stay was so lovely that we kept thinking back to this villa even while our vacation continued elsewhere.
The villa is located on the prestigious Voie Julia, lined by lavish properties and a natural forest. Unlike other offerings on this platform, this villa is truly private. Except for one small bathroom window, there is no window or terrace peeking over the wall. On the other two sides, it’s just the forest. The road lines the most distant corner of the property.
Another unusual advantage was the heated pool - not very common around Cannes. Ours was duly heated at 27’C+ and just lovely. The garden is vast and full of interesting trees. It has a very sunny exposure until minutes before the sunset.
The views are exclusively over the surrounding hills but the day breeze is from the sea. As the sun sets, the fresh forest air falls and lasts all night. I really enjoyed the weather in Cannes / Cannet to be a full 5’C cooler than in Saint-Tropez. The villa itself stays cool throughout the day.
The interior is rather practical and simple, but we all liked the mattresses and the effective mosquito lamps.
The owner is from the area, knowledgeable, very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. So much better than dealing with an agent.
