Cannes Film Festival 2024

A few of my brothers stayed here during the Cannes festival. We could not have been happier with our stay, it was a roughly 30 minute walk to the Grand Palais. Along the walk it was a gorgeous beachside walk, and this location was just outside of all the loud festivities from the festival. The personality and the atmosphere from the apartment was immaculate, the host and everyone were lovely. We loved staying here and if she’ll have us back, we’d be there in a heartbeat!!

lovely stay in Cannes

very nice location and a pleasant stay, the check in was smooth and accomodating changes in arrival time. Margareta is a very attentive host and does everything to help your stay. perhaps the place would need some renovation but those are coming soon. The flat is not big but lots of sunshine and full of colourful art that makes the place warm.

Der Buchungsprozess und Ablauf waren bestens organisiert und die Wohnung sehr ordentlich, voll funktionstĂŒchtig und ca. 5 Min. zum Strand entfernt. Zum Stadtzentrum Cannes am Meer entlang zu Fuß ca.25 min gut zu erreichen.

Uns hat die Lage sehr gut gefallen. Es ist eher am Stadtrand vom Innenstadtbereich, dadurch allerdings touristisch schön ruhig. Hinter der Whg. ist eine Bahnstrecke, uns hat das wenig gestört. Das seltene temporĂ€re aufheulen von diversen Sportwagen war eher störend. Nun zur Whg.: sie ist sauber, völlig funktional, kein Standard, traumhafter Blick aufs Meer, es haben sich alle wohl gefĂŒhlt, es war fĂŒr 4 Personen genĂŒgend Platz

On nous avait annoncé 2 chambres. Il y avait 1 chambre et 1 salon. Appartement pas du tout rénové comme annoncé. Tout y est trÚs vétuste. Pas de machine à café électrique, juste 1 cafetiÚre à l'italienne. Plus de papier toilette. Duvets de lit tachés. Plafond en mauvais état. Rideaux tenus par des clous et punaises. Pas de wifi. Garage Bien. Vue bien.

Charmant, praktisch und sehr sauber

Das Apartment ist genau wie in der Anzeige beschrieben und hat uns alles geboten, was man fĂŒr einen schönen Aufenthalt an der Cote d‘Azur braucht. Besonders begeisternd war immer wieder der schöne Blick auf‘s Meer von der Terrasse aus. Auch die Lage fanden wir recht praktisch, in der unmittelbaren Umgebung ist eine schön gestaltete Promenade und nette Lokale am Meer. Auch der Kontakt fĂŒr die lokale SchlĂŒsselĂŒbergabe verlief reibungslos. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Eine tolle Auszeit

Wunderbar!

Diese Wohnung wĂŒrde ich zu jeder Zeit absolut uneingeschrĂ€nkt weiter empfehlen. Wir (meine zwei Töchter, 17 und 6 J.a. und ich) haben 15 wunderschöne Tage in Cannes verbracht und uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt. Die Wohnung ist fĂŒr drei Personen definitiv groß genug. Das absolute Highlight ist natĂŒrlich der große Balkon, zu dem man sowohl aus dem Schlafzimmer als auch aus dem Wohnzimmer gelangt. Gegessen haben wir immer draußen. Der Ausblick ist genial. Die Schlafmöglichkeiten fĂŒr drei Personen sind sehr gut. Das Wohnzimmer mit einem Schlafsofa und das Schlafzimmer sind voneinander getrennt. Das Badezimmer ist sehr groß. Es handelt sich bei dieser Wohnung eigentlich nicht um eine Standard-Ferienwohnung, man hat hier eher das GefĂŒhl, dass man bei jemandem zu Gast ist. Mit gefiel das, da ich Hotels generell nicht mag (bin oft genug geschĂ€ftlich unterwegs....). In dieser Wohnung fĂŒhlt man sich quasi wie zuhause. Die KĂŒche ist ganz praktisch und mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Was uns ein bisschen gefehlt hat, war eine grĂ¶ĂŸere Kaffeemaschine, eventuell eine Mikrowelle und ein paar grĂ¶ĂŸere Tassen :-) Aber das sind natĂŒrlich unwichtige Kleinigkeiten. Die Lage ist ganz gut. Zwar nicht direkt in der Innenstadt , aber auch nicht weit weg. Zu Fuß braucht man bis zum Bahnhof/Stadtzentrum ca. 35 Minuten. Die Altstadt und den Hafen erreicht man in ca. 40 Minuten. Man kann auch mit einem Bus fahren (z.B. Nr. 21). Wir sind aber lieber gelaufen, da der Bus tagsĂŒber relativ unregelmĂ€ĂŸig und ziemlich lange fĂ€hrt. Außerdem gibt es einen Bus (Nr. 200), der direkt von der Wohnung bis Nizza fĂ€hrt. In Nizza kann man dann mit dem gleichen Ticket (fĂŒr nur 1,50 Euro!) weiter fahren - entweder in die Stadt oder in die andere Richtung, z.B. zum Flughafen). Wir sind sehr gerne auch mit der Bahn gefahren (vom Cannes Bahnhof), z.B. nach Monako. Absolut empfehlenswert ist auch ein Ausflug zur Insel St.Marguerite (15 Min. mit der FĂ€hre) FĂŒr einen Badeurlaub ist die Lage der Wohnung perfekt. Weniger als 15 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt ist ein sehr guter öffentlicher Strand (Plage Gazagnaire). Auch nah (ca. 25 zu Fuß) ist der Strand Zamenhof, der schon direkt an der berĂŒhmten Promenade Boulevard de la Croisette liegt. Etwas weiter sind die StrĂ€nde Mace und Midi. Sie haben uns aber auch weniger gefallen, da sie wirklich total ĂŒberfĂŒllt sind. Allerdings gibt es dort grĂ¶ĂŸere Wellen - Kindern macht es natĂŒrlich auch Spaß. Alles in allem hatten wir einen perfekten Urlaub!

Gute Homebase fĂŒr AusflĂŒge

Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin hat sowohl im Vorfeld als auch wĂ€hrend unseres Aufenthalts gut funktioniert. Die Ferienwohnung liegt direkt am westlichen Ortsrand von Cannes. Sie hat einen großen Balkon mit einem wunderschönen Blick aufs Meer und die Ile St. Marguerite. Mit dieser Aussicht lĂ€sst es sich herrlich frĂŒhstĂŒcken und zu Abend essen. Dieser Vorzug steht einigen EinschrĂ€nkungen hinsichtlich der Wohnung entgegen. So ist - im Gegensatz zum renovierten und gut gepflegten Haus - der WohlfĂŒhlfaktor im Inneren des Apartments nicht ganz so hoch, weil das Apartment ziemlich mit zusammengewĂŒrfeltem und recht abgewohntem Mobiliar zugestellt ist. Auch die Anbindung an die Innenstadt ist schwierig: Zu Fuß 40 Min. oder 20 Min. mit dem Bus 21, der allerdings nur alle 40 Minuten fĂ€hrt. Oder mit dem Auto durch eine stets verstopfte Innenstadt. Dass es einen abgeschlossenen privaten Parkplatz direkt auf dem GrundstĂŒck gibt, ist wiederum ein großer Vorteil der Wohnung. Da die Ferienwohnung in einer reinen Wohngegend liegt, haben wir mit Ausnahme einer BĂ€ckerei leider keine GeschĂ€fte oder Restaurants in der direkten Umgebung vorgefunden. Zum Baden am westlichen Ende der Croisette sind es 25 Min. zu Fuß, ebenso 15 Min. zur Pointe de la Croisette. Der Strand direkt beim Haus lud leider nicht zum lĂ€ngeren Baden ein, weil das Meer bis weit hinaus sehr flach bleibt und der Strand von Ameisen und Seetang ĂŒbersĂ€t ist – wofĂŒr die Vermieterin natĂŒrlich nichts kann. Fazit: Eine gute Homebase, wenn man viele AusflĂŒge in die Umgebung macht.

Pointe Croisette

Wir haben eine Woche Urlaub in der Ferienwohnung verbracht. Die Wohnung ist mit dem nötigsten ausgestattet und fĂŒr den Preis auf jeden Fall wieder zu empfehlen! Vor allem bei dieser tollen Aussicht und Lage! Mit wunderschönem Blick aufs Meer vom Balkon. Drei StrĂ€nde und die Croissette waren in unmittelbarer NĂ€he. Vermieterin sehr freundlich und behilflich.

Je conseille cet appartement Ă  mes amis.

Nous avons passĂ© Ă  Cannes les deux derniĂšres semaines de juillet, c'est-Ă -dire, en pleine haute saison. C'est pourquoi nous avons volontairement cherchĂ© un logement loin du bruit des rues centrales. La propriĂ©taire est trĂšs gentille et dĂ©licate, toujours prĂȘte Ă  aider. L'appartement-mĂȘme est trĂšs sympa: le salon est sĂ©parĂ© de la chambre par un long couloir, par la cuisine et par la salle de bain, de l’autre cĂŽtĂ© l’appartement est „ceinturĂ©â€ par la terrase dont la partie latĂ©rale donne sur la mer, ce qui offre une vue magnifique sur l'Ăźle de Sainte-Marguerite et sur de nombreux bateaux et des yachts le jour et la nuit. Tout le territoire autour de la maison et jusqu’ Ă  la mer est couvert par de belles pelouses, piscines et par des palmiers et des fleurs. Un autre point fort: tout l’appartement et bien aĂ©rĂ© par la brise - on n’a nul besoin de la climatation. Bien sĂ»r, le bruit du train est lĂ  mais c'est un mal inĂ©vitable sur la CĂŽte d’Azur. Juste Ă  deux pas de la maison se trouve une petite plage sauvage, couverte d'un tapis de douces algues entourĂ©e par de l'eau merveilleusement transparente – un vraie paradis pour la pĂȘche aux moules et pour la pĂȘche sous-marine. La mer ici pas profonde et entre les pierres il y a des couloirs sableux qui forment de temps en temps des petites piscines presque rondes. Peu de peuple, beaucoup de silence. La plage de ville et La Croisette sont Ă  12-15 minutes Ă  pied (si vous avez envie de passer du temps dans la foule). L’arrĂȘt de bus est prĂšs de la maison: 10 minutes et vous Ă  Souquette! A 10 minutes de marche dans le boulevard Alexandre III et vous avez le Carrefour, une pharmacie, une boucherie,une boulangerie et un magnifique restaurant italien pas cher! Nous sommes trĂšs satisfaites de notre choix.
