Beautiful rooms, very well curated. The staff were incredibly friendly and maintained the hotel to a high standard. Everything is as pictured. The location is footsteps to the beach. It is also right across from a big beach club, so some sound carries. The area around the property is quite busy, so it's a nice reprieve to have a cozy, luxurious space to escape to.

We stayed for one (Friday) night before joining friends for a prearranged holiday. We weren’t quite able to get to the hotel before reception closed, but as we arranged our transfer from the airport through White Goose, they made sure someone from security was able to let us in after hours. The room was great. Nice and cool when we arrived. Bed was large and comfy. Complimentary water was provided. The adjoining restaurant does great cocktails and pizzas. Finns Beach Club is directly opposite. For those who are sensitive to noise / loud music, FBC may disturb sleep until it closes. We were tired and had earplugs, so it didn’t really bother us. The only thing we didn’t need was the real life white duck in a pen. We get that the place is called White Goose, but we like our animals to have friends, be happy and completely free range.

I stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago and had such a great experience that I decided to return on my recent trip to Bali. There are still many things I love about this property.. the staff are warm and welcoming, the restaurant is excellent, and the pool area is beautiful and well-maintained. Short walk to the beach! But Unfortunately, this stay didn’t quite live up to my previous experience. There were a few maintenance and cleanliness issues that impacted my stay. The shower drain wasn’t draining properly, which meant standing in pooled water while showering (I did report this on my first night but nothing eventuated). There were also a couple of water leaks in the bathroom and an occasional sewage smell that was noticeable in the room. I was also surprised by how much noise could be heard from the club across the road, even though my room was located towards the back of the property, not relaxing at night time unless your in the party scene for the whole time. Overall, I still think the hotel has a lot going for it and the service remains fantastic but I don’t think I’ll be back.
