Screaming children

On the first morning, housekeeping woke me up early to ask me to move to another unit, claiming a mistake was made on initial check-in. They moved me from a unit for solo travellers to a family unit, which was odd because I booked the cheapest room. Although this on first sight looked like an upgrade, I quickly discovered I was now surrounded by children screaming from before sunset till after sundown. Owner made no attempt to resolve the issue after I complained.

Check in was smooth, friendly and efficient. Located in a quiet area of Canggu, though not too far away from the centre. Breakfast was standard Bali breakfast, perfectly edible, but nothing to write home about. Beaches are 10 - 15 minutes walk away, and can be a little daunting in parts due to the amount of mopeds in the area. Not many bars in the area, plenty of places for brunch and lunch, not many restaurants for a quality meal
