Located in the heart of Campione d’Italia, Casa Cotima offers an unforgettable stay with breathtaking views of Lake Lugano and the surrounding mountains.

The apartment, situated on the first floor, features a spacious living room with a sofa bed (Please note: the sofa bed is not prepared, we think it is proper to use the sofa during non-sleeping hours. You will find sheets, pillows and blankets in the closet/shelf most adjacent to the sofa.) and elegant wooden finishes. Large French doors fill the room with natural light and open directly onto the lakefront terrace, where you can immerse yourself in the serene beauty of the stunning landscape.

The separate kitchen is fully equipped with appliances and includes a practical peninsula with two seats, perfect for cooking or a quick snack.

The property offers two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and the other with a single bed, both with direct views of the lake. The spacious, well-furnished bathroom includes double sinks and a modern walk-in shower.

From the shared garden surrounding the property, you have direct access to the lake.



Quality bedding, towels and a courtesy kit are provided.

We also leave a gift basket with some necessary items for your first breakfast.



Any commercial business is forbidden inside the apartment.

Guests have the access of the whole apartment.

The apartment does not have private parking, but there are paid public parking spaces approximately 50 meters from the property.

Despite its compact size, the town is home to one of Europe’s largest casinos, just a 2-minute walk from Casa Cotima. Nearby, you’ll find several bars, restaurants, a pharmacy, and a market.

For nature lovers and sports enthusiasts, Campione d’Italia is the ideal starting point for numerous excursions on Lake Lugano and the surrounding mountains, such as Monte San Salvatore and Monte Sighignola. A few minutes from the property is Swissminiatur in Melide, a unique park-museum that recreates Switzerland’s most famous landmarks in miniature with meticulous detail.

The lively city of Lugano is reachable by car, bus, or boat in approximately 20-25 minutes.



How to get there:

By car: Take the A2 motorway exit towards Bissone/Campione and set your GPS. The apartment is about a 7-minute drive.

By train: From Lugano station, take the S10 train towards “Chiasso” or “Mendrisio” and get off at “Melide” (2 stops, about 7 minutes). From Melide station, take bus 439 towards “Campione, Casino” and get off at the final stop (7 stops, about 10 minutes). Alternatively, from Como San Giovanni station, take the RE80 train towards “Locarno” and get off at “Paradiso” (3 stops, about 30 minutes). From there, take bus 439 towards “Campione, Casino” and get off at the final stop (7 stops, about 10 minutes).
