The staff were very good. The housekeeping was good but it kind of bothered me that they didn't change the drinking glasses every day. The tub/shower was good but it was a bit elevated to get into for a person with hip issues. The breakfast was good.

The staff members are very attentive, especially to my furry friend and they made sure he had a dog bowl and bed in the room. It was our first time away with my 5 year old labradoodle and it was a relaxed experience.

Lovely weekend stay at the Hilton, Cambridge. Room was spotless, little extras like the heated bathroom mirror so it didnt steam up from the shower. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I can't praise it enough.

The hotel is in a great central location with the colleges and the river within easy walking distance. The staff were very helpful and friendly and we had a hugely enjoyable stay.

Good location

The staff were incredibly rude to us upon arrival. One man-child behind the desk was sneering and smirking at us... An unusual way to greet guests. We wondered why we'd chosen to stay here! The location is fantastic, that made it worth staying. We met the manager when checking out and she was incredibly nice and helpful, almost made up for the others.

The room was not clean with crumbs and food bits by the bedside from the previous tenant. Carpet very stained; chair cover with holes. Very sub par for Hilton - especially given the price. Very disappointing.

Need improvement

Overall no toiletries are provided in the room, for example, no dental kits, shaving kits and slippers. All of these items need to be asked by myself from the front desk, which requires me to go down from my room on the first day. However on my second day, I would like to thank Ms Sally Fung (the supervisor) who served me well and the housekeeping guy who gave me the slippers and the items. I hope Hilton which should be a high standard hotel brand to improve in the coming future.

Great hotel - though my advice to fellow travelers is to book directly through Hilton and not through Expedia. Upon arrival, Hilton had no record of my stay via Expedia, I had to wait for them to track my booking through Expedia and was unable to get the room id requested.
