This property had received a terrible review about two weeks before our planned stay. We had booked in November and the one review was good then. I finally heard from the owner at 10 am on the morning of our stay with directions and key code. Communication was by WhatsApp not email. We arrived and the parking was on the street around the corner. When we arrived the heat was not working but the owner arrived quickly to rectify that. WIFI only worked on the second floor. Very basic ammenities. Nice pub Haymakers on the corner.

AVOID. We booked this accommodation months in advance for a work trip, yet on the day of arrival the property left my team completely in the lurch. We called the number provided on the booking to confirm our arrival time and were told there was no booking on their system. Moments later we received a cancellation notification through the Hotels.com app, which clearly showed that a booking did in fact exist. It seems the property had either forgotten about it or simply couldn’t be bothered to honour it. This happened on the day of the stay, giving us no realistic time to make alternative arrangements. Because it was so last minute, we were forced to find alternative accommodation at nearly three times the price due to limited availability. What made it worse was the complete lack of communication. There was no explanation, no apology, and no attempt from the property owner to help resolve the situation.
