At the bottom of the valley flows a river
That’s where we settled down, in the Durencuse Valley, surrounded by mountains and forests. Between the Sidobre Massif, with its strange and legendary formations, and the Lacaune Mountains, which are perfect for hiking, fishing, and strolling through the woods in search of porcini mushrooms. Here, tranquility and nature reign supreme.


Located in the Haut-Languedoc Natural Park, at the gateway to the Sidobre, on a 2-hectare property bordered by a stream.
A 70-square-meter vacation rental for a couple, attached to the owners’ home.

Loft-style, spacious living area featuring a living room and a fully equipped open kitchen (stove with oven, wood-burning stove, dishwasher, drip coffee maker, kettle...), a bedroom with a 160x200 double bed, and a bathroom open to the bedroom with a walk-in shower.
Bedding, bath towels, kitchen towels, and end-of-stay cleaning are included in the rate (COVID precautions apply; however, please leave the place clean upon your departure).

Idyll dans le foret

If you want a truly authentic French experience this is the place for you. The property is amazing and comes with its own resident goat & donkeys. Magali & Thierry are the perfect hosts nothing is too much trouble and their petit dejeuner is sublime can’t rate highly enough.
