The hotel has a great location and a beautiful lobby, which sets the right tone when you arrive. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t fully match the first impression. Check-in took longer than expected despite having three staff at the desk, and we weren’t acknowledged right away even though we were waiting in front of them. They also required photos of our IDs, which felt outdated and concerning from a data security standpoint. Check-out was unusual too, as we had to wait for “room clearance” before being officially checked out. This might be standard for properties with frequent party guests, but it didn’t feel guest-friendly. The biggest issue was the environment. Hallways and rooms had a heavy mold smell, which made it uncomfortable to breathe. On top of that, the elevators and décor are very dated. This hotel has a lot going for it in terms of location and its inviting lobby, but it really needs stronger upkeep, modernized procedures, and a sharper focus on guest experience to reach its potential.
