Very Good

I am used to budget travel and staying in very low-end accomodations. However, this hotel was GROSSLY misrepresented in its description. Airport transportation was arranged, however no one was there to pick us up. After haggling with a cab driver to get to the hotel we arrived at a decrepit building in bad repair. The staff informed us that they never had any record or emails or phone calls to arrange an airport pick-up. We were placed in a room on the 5th floor and there was no elevator, nor did we have assistance carrying up our luggage. The room was less than clean. It should be rated at a 1-star hotel, at best. Everything about our stay felt like we were being scammed.

Good hotel, But.....
The hotel is clean & in great location in the downtown of cairo city just few min. walking to the Metro station, but the TV in the room was not working & the shower had weak flow of water and you have to wait 3-5min to have hot water.
This stay was simply amazing. The hostel is right in heart of cairo. You can have access to all places of interest from this point. The building is a classic french style construction with balconies. The Egyptian Museum is right in front of the building which is a big plus. Rooms were clean and the decor was elegant. Now about the management: Mustafa, and his team will make sure your stay is satisfied. They will go beyond their requirement to serve you. Breakfast is a included and you will be served gourmet food every morning. Overall, this place was felt like staying at a relatives place. You will feel at home with safety and security. I highly recommend The Egyptian Night Hotel.
A very nice stay with a very friendly host. Compared with the price an absolutely super stay. Will recommend it to others and are ready for a stay again.
the staff is v friendly and helpful, my room is clean, neat and cosy, makes me feel like im at home good view of the Egyptian Museum , AC is New and working well. There is a TV in the room, but its not really that important for me. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who would like to have a comfortable and budget stay at the same time.
I booked thru expedia as I was lining up for my depaerture flight. So i was unable to have any contact with the Hotel for setting up a taxi when I landed. Big mistake! All the other time I needed a driver for whatever my needs the people here were more then accomadating. Had I known that I would have emailed them my itinerary to have me picked up from the airport. But after arriving I sat down with the owner and he set me up with different tours and gave me options for different sites around Egypt, He booked the whole thing, flights, hotels, tours, train, pick up and drop off at every stop and turn at a quite reasonable price! I was more then happy with all the service I was offered during my stay. My brother showed up while I was gone and they even picked him up from the airport (now being wiser in my planning) The location is great as well directly across from the museum and downtown. Views of the Nile. Parliment building. If i know anyone travelling to Egypt they will be on the top of my list for hotel recommandations!
