Staff was great. Property is older. Housekeeping definitely needs to do a better job of cleaning the rooms, not just replacing towels. the outside of the toilet bowl in our room had not been cleaned probably since it was installed. the layer of dirt along the baseboards was about 2cm thick and there was mold growing on the toilet paper holder. The bed was comfortable and there was air conditioning. Room had tea/coffee and crackers which was nice. Pool was available. Our room was booked as a "balcony" room...there are no balconys that we saw so not sure what that was about. Overall property was close to explanade and was fine.

The hotel room was okay overall. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the Cairns Esplanade and the outdoor lagoon/pool, which was convenient. The only downside for us was that when it rained there wasn’t really anywhere to go besides the room, as the hotel doesn’t have a common area or indoor space to relax.

Honestly, disappointed with the room. Large wet look stains on the carpet, medium sized hole/rip in the towel I tried to use, stains still on the bedsheet of the main bed, a decent mould build up in the shower, also a slimy shower cubicle floor and nearly slipped on it. Staff didn’t seem too concerned about it and said there was nothing else they could do.
Multiple stain marks on the main bedsheets, this is just one.
Had to resist the urge to go buy some Exit Mould and clean it myself.

Have stayed here before as such great value for money. Location is walkable to esplanade and main city centre, whilst the hotel may be older the rooms are very spacious and clean and the pool and spa were great on a very hot day. The staff here are always super friendly and the onsite carparking is a huge bonus.

The moment we checked in, Cynthia welcomed us and gave us good recommendations. Celina working the front desk also was very personable and gave us great information. Our room was clean and amenities were sufficient. The location was close to all the activities we wanted to do. Would definitely stay here again.

Very friendly staff, clean pool, secure parking, hood air conditioning. However, rooms are not just outdated but also not clean (floor, curtains, sofa are very dirty). Bed linens were clean. Great place to stay, overall very happy.
