Reception was perfect, & we were kindly treated with a birthday cocktail on arrival from Ricardo, thank you. room was lovely, pillow menu spot on, would loved to have seen tea cups in the room…sadly our room wasn’t cleaned for 2 days but was cleaned after we followed up with reception & they were very apologetic…we will be back. the location was perfect & walking distance to many attractions, right on the esplanade & public entertainment spaces…boardwalk social was a great space to unwind ..thank you all at Crystalbrook Flynn for a wonderful mini break stay 😊

Lovely! right on the Esplanade and walk everywhere. Aah, the glass sided swimming pools provide full visibility from public areas, great if you're a bikini bod looking to flaunt, less so for those of us who are more mature :)

Mold

We arrive at midnight and we were given a beautiful ocean view however, they keep AC steamy so the rooms smell was moldy to the point that our nostrils were burning. The AC is controlled from the front desk so they decided the temperature of the rooms, so it was musty and disgusting. We decided to change rooms and they did but all rooms had the same issue, is not 1am and on the new new we try to just open sliding door and the door would not open. We were trapped without being able to control the room temperature nor get fresh air. I developed a terrible asthma attack and they decided to move us to a much larger room, which bc is double the size of the other 2 rooms, moldy smell was not an issue which by this time it was close to 2am. The lady saw I got really sick and wanted to call ambulance. We waited to sunrise and immediately left. Is extremely concerning that this would be okay. People with asthma or allergies could be extremely dangerous. They are cutting corners to save, they oceanfront which will create moisture and with no airflow in the rooms of course mold will buildup in AC ducks. Dont trust the 4 star review. Maybe locals dont think that mold is not an issue. Worst experience in a hotels. Last minute planning.. lessons learned.

Hotel Great. Service not so much.

This is a very nice hotel with easy access to downtown. The room and the view were great. Sunsets were brillant. I do have a major complaint. One evening I called to try to order room service from 6:00-7:30 pm. The line was always busy so no dinner that night. I was not able to leave the hotel for food. The next day I told the desk manager of my problem. He was not particularly concerned. I was so I ordered dinner for that night while I was standing at the desk in the morning. No problem, I was told except that “I would have to take my place in the queue”. At 10:00 am placing an order for 5:30 pm. I was the queue. The nonchalance of the staff didn’t match the quality of the hotel.
