Room was clean and serviceable. It is value for money. Fridge was not replenished during my 4 day stay so coffee and milk ran out day 1. I probably only had to ask for more though. It was a budget stay and i would do it again.

Felt very unsafe here as a female solo traveler. Come to find out this motel is located in a rougher part of Carins. Was woken up several times by screaming from other tenants from (1-3am). The locks are janky and would definitely not protect you if someone really wanted to break in. The floors also felt pretty unclean. You get what you pay for but I still wouldn’t recommend. You can get a much nicer place in a better area for $30 more.

Saw the cheap price - could have been a special deal, or could have been 'you get what you pay for'. Unfortunately it was #2. None of the photos showed me what I was getting - maybe they have nicer rooms. Hotel is very old and tired. Hardly any parking. Beds were uncomfortable and well past it. A/C on max was struggling to keep room just barable. On the plus side, the room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. It is priced correctly - just the photos are misleading.

For the price, this property comes highly recommended. We paid just a standard room, and it was one floor up (stairs only) and had obviously a bed, en suite, tv, air con, ceiling fan, bar fridge, microwave and tea/coffee. We don't smoke but if you are a smoker, you have to go right to the front of the property for the designated area. Beautiful pool and quite large. Easy walk to Cairns Central and CPAC. Parking limited but plenty free on the street. We would definitely return.

This was not what I expected. The curtain rods in the bathroom were rusty. Thank God,I only stay there for two nights,and had a whole day tours scheduled,so I didn’t have to spend my time there,except for sleeping.
