Fabulous hotel to relax and explore the Cairns area. Plenty to enjoy on resort and food offerings are great value with good sized portions. We travelled in winter and there are covered walkways between most of the buildings to keep you dry in rain. Great sized family pool with big screen showing kids programs

Great location for young kids as this property has a few pools to choose from and activities. The cafe style bar area was really great for nights that you did t feel like going out. We stayed there for a sporting event and so did a few others in our group and we all enjoyed our stay

A great stay! Was not walkable to the main esplanade is the only real complaint. Staff was super quick and helpful when our smoke detector went off in the middle of the night. The pool area looked great, especially for families, but we did not use due to timing of other activities.

Colonial Club is a home away from home . I stay often as I am elderly & have a lot of Hospital Visits so my husband who is my Carer lives that this resort is clise to hisputal , has its own restaraunt , beautiful coffee & is ooen from 6.30 am for food.Rooms are comfy our favourite is Superior Room , staff are kind & caring & front desk always upgrades & has disability over toilet frame & shower chsir in room as I am in a wheelchair . We love the pools as well , such a great resort & suits families , singles, Elderly & Wheelchair friendly . Thankyou to all ! Anne & Keith
