Beautiful location with all the room amenities for a self contained stay. More expensive than other properties in Palm Cove, but you have the advantage of being up the ‘quiet’ end, and having access to 3 pools. Our apartment (25) was well appointed, missing only a couple of essentials like cling wrap and foil to make it truly an easy experience. Plenty of other consumables present. Apartment was tidy and suited our family well. Can highly recommend the tavern up the road for dinner! We’ll be back - it’s a lovely location and well suited to families looking to balance a lux holiday with self catering to keep costs down.

What qualifies as luxury accommodation? The apt had cheap ikea style furniture, pleather chairs and rusty balcony furniture. The couch was concrete slab with cushions on it. The swimming pool was nice, and the staff friendly. But definitely no more than 2* accommodation. Would not book again

The rooms are large and have everything you could possibly need, including a full kitchen and washer/dryer. The property has multiple pools and plenty of restaurants within walking distance and a great little grocery store right next door.

On the positive side there were lovely beach views, excellent staff, and it was a great location close to everything in Palm Cove. There were nice touches like complimentary chocolates in the fridge on arrival. The things that weren’t so good included: the hot water in the shower never got past warm, the aircon in the main bedroom didn’t blow cold air when set on cool mode, the towels were small and thin and it was impossible to block out the light by closing the Venetian blinds. Additionally, the room was directly opposite the chapel so privacy was limited. Overall it was good but expensive

Amazing resort on a great stretch of beach with tons of delicious food options. The resort itself had a very tropical feel to it and Palm Cove was a great beach that is an easy drive to Cairns.

Our stay at Alamanda was truly relaxing and peaceful. The beachfront location provided stunning ocean views, and the tranquil atmosphere made it easy to unwind. The spacious, well-appointed suites and lush gardens added to the overall sense of serenity. A perfect place to rejuvenate!
