A nice peaceful boutique hotel in a fabulous location just off Poetto Beach. Nice comfortable rooms & a good breakfast with lots of choice. Excellent value for money.

Sweet spot right next to the beach.

Hotel Villa Sveva... is great to relax as well as meet people. It is located very close to main beach, supermarket and bus stop which is very convenient. The host and staff are very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended! Thanks Elena! See you next time in the sun.

Clean, welcoming, perfectly located, great staff!

My stay was just amazing! Not only the hotel is really clean, few steps from the seaside, quiet and modern. What makes the difference is the staff: they are the best! Friendly, nice, doing their best at all the time, smiling, honest, careful! In few days I really felt like I was in a family. I can't wait to go back to Villa Sveva! Complimenti! 😃👍👍👍👍

The pictures look nothing like the real property! The lawn is not well manicured. Our bathroom door was rubbing on the floor and took great effort to close it every time one used the restroom! Very frustrating! Also it would have been helpful to understand that most restaurants were closed due to the time of year and we could only find one place in walking distance open! We were there beginning of Jan.

I recommend this hotel

Very good service, Friendly but professional staff, nice rooms (no balcony but out door seating areas) Clean well furnished with a good position close to beach and public transport, bars and restaurants. Good value for money.

Property looked different to the images. Fairly quiet and friendly staff, however bed sheets always remained sandy even after house keeping had made the bed. Staff were willing to help and arranged transport for us.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay. It is really close next to the city’s main beach ‘Poetto beach.’ Along the beach stretch there are many restaurants for night time including facilities such as a big shop for food and pharmacy. It has really good bus connections which starts literally outside the villa and gets you into the city centre very easily and swiftly and cheaply. Staff was very welcoming always and friendly and our room was always cleaned well and left in a good state. Cleaners were also very friendly. Overall good location if you want to explore the capital to Cagliari.

The staff members were incredibly nice and very helpful! Made us feel quite welcomed and comfortable. I would have preferred to receive fresh towels every day, but I believe it was in their policy that they do not do that. Not sure if it is just with this hotel or if in all of Poetto. Overall wonderful experience!

Good location in proximity to the beach

Great location, great service provided by receptionists, decent size room ( the double with kitchen and two separate bathrooms), clean and safe. On the down size lots of small things which do not fit perfect and the fact that the kitchen has no microwave (it is quite hard during holiday to stay and proper prepare food.- more convenient to reheat some leftovers from last meal) . Decent breakfast and great coffee.

Friendly, small hotel

We went in February, out of season and the hotel was very quiet. The staff were lovely. The reception area is also a bar but there isn't really anywhere to sit to have a drink so ended up taking drinks to our room. The ability to make a cup of tea/coffee in the room would have been much appreciated. There was a fridge in the room. Some road noise but not a problem with the window closed - air con/heater provided.Lovely views across the salt lakes Bed was comfortable, bathroom good

great location, excellent staff

Great location just a 5 mins walk to the beach and 2 mns walk to bus stop with regular bus service. Staff were very helpful especially the 2 young men at the reception desk 10/10. Our room was cleaned very well and fresh towels every day. I felt we were made feel very welcome and that feeling stayed until the day we left. I would book this hotel again if I return to Sardinia.

Great stay at Hotel Villa Sveva

We travelled from Canada to Sardegna and stayed 4 nights in Hotel Villa Sveva - and we are VERY GLAD we did!!! Hotel/Location: The hotel itself is very cute and quaint. From the airport, it is about a 25 minute taxi ride costing 30 to 35 euros. We loved the location as we got a feel of the local culture and also very short walking distance to the main beach and restaurants. Staff: Given that the hotel is small with only a few rooms, the staff treat you like family and always welcomed us with warm smiles. They always provided us with great restaurant recommendations and answered all of our questions! Room/Cleanliness: The room is basic but it is exactly what you will need as most of the time will be spent on the beach. It was very clean, modern looking and large balcony. The only comment we had about the room was that the towels smelled strongly of vinegar however, this is a traditional Italian way to clean and disinfect therefore, we knew it was clean. Breakfast: While other reviews say that breakfast was basic, you cannot expect a traditional "American" breakfast as a traditional Italian breakfast comprises of a freshly baked "dolces", cakes, cheeses, meats & fresh fruits. Every morning, we would smell the freshly baked cornettos and they were absolutely fantastic. Honestly, we were really surprised to read negative comments about the breakfast as we loved it! All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it!! You will not be disappointed!

Cute boutique hotel near the beach

We really liked staying at the Hotel Villa Sveva. It's so close to Poetto beach and they were really nice there. It was a great hotel for a short 4 night get away.

Very good, but make sure what you are paying for.

Make sure you choose a superior room, we had room 206, it was very small and without a balcony or outdoor space. The hotel has a very pleasant & comfortable garden to sit in. The staff are excellent. I would definitely visit again, but with a superior room. Rooms 205 & 206 would make a good family combination, children in 206.

Good choice for a short break near Cagliari

Hotel Villa Sveva is a good choice for someone visiting Cagliari but trying to avoid the city centre. The hotel is closely located to Poetto beach, which is great for long strolls along the beach (we stayed there in April, hence the weather was not good enough for sun bathing). Staff is friendly and makes you feel welcome. The only cons about this hotel would be the breakfast (could be a bit more diverse), the noise in the rooms and the creaking beds. All in all, a nice experience and good value for money.

Memorable stay :)

Nicely refurbished hotel, good location, lovely staff, clean and comfortable. We went in October, so it wasn't busy, but still got high standard service. Breakfast was more Italian style, with which we were a bit disappointed, but wouldn't consider it as a negative. We booked an off-road tour trough the hotel, which was a great experience. Would recommend this place to everybody

A really nice hotel. We loved the room, the view and that it was very close to the beaches. The only thing they could improve is to offer some healthy options at breakfast (vegetables, dark bread, etc.)
