A tale of two stays. First, the apartment is really clean, had all the amenities we needed and conveniently located in the old city of Cadiz. Our host was very responsive and helpful! For that, we loved our stay. Second, was the sleep (or lack thereof). Being on the street level on the night of garbage pick up made sleeping nearly impossible. Between the neighbors rolling their trash out over the cobblestones at midnight, having full on, loud conversations mere feet from our bed at 2am, then the constant trash trucks and motorbikes, I think we saw every hour of the night. This made for a sluggish and exhausted start to the next part of our adventure. :-( Bottom line, if you can avoid trash day….DO IT!
