"If you are looking to see wildlife, this is your place! The layout of the property is wonderful. We explored the rocks just off the beach and found a tidal pool. Love that they compost and only replace towels every other day. Every person we encountered was friendly and helpful. Would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you so much!"

"This was an amazing space for a week away with our kids and spouses, who all live in different cities. Tranquil space with lots of options for more excitement (e.g. surfing lessons), and a constant nature show of birds, monkeys, and other wildlife. Delicious food, and friendly staff who went the extra mile (one of our daughters twisted her knee on the first day and needed a few more rides than we'd planned on). We absolutely plan on another visit, hopefully soon!"

"Bosque del Cabo is a destination in itself. Overlooking the Pacific and Gulf on the Osa Peninsula it is beautifully maintained, wildlife are all around, trails are rugged and moderate, and the staff could not be more personal and helpful. Meals are delicious We had menu choices for breakfast and lunch; dinner was a communal buffet with many options. There are cookies out and cocktail appetizers. Our cabin was perfect-a thatched spacious casita with a large bathroom and lovely outdoor garden shower. All very private. The deck had lounge chairs, hammock, table and chairs and a breathtaking view of the ocean with birds swooping all day. The owner was just wonderful and on the property and the people we met were very interesting and good company. I highly recommend Bosque! We can’t say enough good things about it. Be aware, the road to the airport and beach is a very bumpy ride and the planes from San Jose are only 10-seaters. "

"This is a spectacular location made even more so by the kind helpful site manager Joel. Ask him about the flora or fauna or ask him to schedule a wonderful outing. We went to Corcovado by boat and highly recommend it. Stay right where you are or go for long walks. Both ways you will see so much wildlife. The houses are comfortable and well outfitted. We were surprised to see high-end cookware in the jungle. Housekeeping is excellent. Beds are comfortable. We alternated in which house we would congregate. The house next to the ocean has a lovely breeze. The house with the biggest kitchen (great for a chef - we heartily recommend Edixon!) is literally in a cage and you can sit inside and watch the capuchins go through the area. Walk up to the nearby waterfall to see the howlers and spider monkeys.You will see toucans, scarlet macaws daily. If you stay in one place long enough you will see many other creatures roaming or flying by. We were there in December-January and didn’t see mosquitos"
