Mountain Cottage, with spectacular views of the mountains of Altos del María, perfect for resting or spending time with the family, with heated infinity pool, large outdoor areas, Smart TV and A/C in all rooms, WIFI throughout the property and fully equipped. Includes HBO MAX and Prime Video service. It has a fire pit and a loft with additional beds for large families. Altos del María is a mountain community that has rivers, trails and viewpoints. It's an hour and a half drive from Panama City. Free late check out on sunday checkouts.

Great property in a beautiful and safe community

Beautiful home with plentiful space and privacy. The location faces north west overlooking the valley. The community is gated with a security entrance. If you come up the road from El Valle there is another security gate that closes at 6pm, so be mindful of time or plan on an additional hour from that route. The only minor issue is the kitchen area. The knives are blunt dull and there is no seasoning or any stocked items to assist with making food. That's not why we're here of course, but worth the mention for others traveling in to get prepared.

The view of the mountains from the home is incredible and the pool is amazing. The neighborhood is peaceful. This is a wonderful place to go and relax. The owner is very responsive and helpful. Everything in the home was outstanding and clean.

This was a great location to relax, and get out to explore some hiking and smaller communities! The place was well kept, with stunning views. The host was very easy to get ahold of and very responsive to any questions. Highly recommend, wish we could of stayed longer!

Unbeatable View in Lovely Villa

We loved our stay in Altos and Diogenes was so responsive and helpful during our stay. He gave us great tips for things to do and really helped make our trip special. The place and views are even better in person than the pictures show and was very clean. We went in the rainy season (July-August) and the temperature was perfect, cool but nice enough to swim. The community felt safe and secure and we loved swimming in the infinity pool while taking in the view. Be sure to visit the nearby Fondas for great food!

Amazing view and beautiful tropical mountain setting.

The furniture needs a refresh. Stains on carpets and sofa fabrics. Kitchen doesn't have a ton of supplies if you're planning to cook in as we did. Dishwasher was broken. Beds are basic (not pillowy-soft); pillows were tired. Not a lot of restaurant choices nearby. This is a remote location. Nearest full service grocery is 50 min away in El Valle de Anton using a very, very steep mountain route. AC works well, but it's only in the bedrooms.

Beautiful House with plenty space for a large family. We were 12 adults. The pool area was excellent. Communication with Diogenes was very good and fast to answer. There is a small store to buy groceries if need be, but I recommend bring your own groceries that way you dont need to leave the house/. We will return to this beautiful house
