Buxton's closest ocean view home is only 40 feet from the dune line and the best fishing, surfing, and swimming on Hatteras Island! Relax and watch the dolphins play and waves break from the ocean and lighthouse view decks. The first level has a half bath and a bedroom with two singles. The entry room has a double futon, a TV, and a fridge. You'll also have great parking, a carport, and a basketball hoop. The first level has four bedrooms (two mains with private baths, TV, and access to oceanside decks), three baths, and a laundry. The fourth bedroom has a TV and oceanside deck access and the fifth has a TV. Upstairs is a large great room with wood accents, a cathedral ceiling, beautiful furnishings, and a two-story window with views of the ocean. A fully-equipped kitchen, a breakfast bar, a dining area, and a half bath handle all your needs. Oak spiral stairs lead to the fourth level loft with breathtaking views. The warm oceanside south-facing decks with covered porch and hot tub have ample room. Get caught up in the Fishin' Friendzy!

Large house ON the beach

Pros:- Just steps to the beach - Says it sleeps 10 but has beds for 14 - Three bedrooms and the loft have views of the ocean - Third floor (kitchen, living room) has awesome views of the beach - FULLY STOCKED kitchen. More dishes than you could ever use and every gadget you might need. - Beds are comfortable. - Kitchen table seats 12. Cons: -First floor smells musty. Can only imagine the mold growing there. - Found dirty dishes in the cupboard. After that, we washed every dish before we used it.

The house was great and we had everything we needed. However, there was 24/7 beach construction going on in front of the home which we were never notified of prior to our stay. The customer service from Vacasa was very disappointing. I would stay here again but would not rent through them.

Great place, great property owners

The house was perfect for what we wanted. We had no need or want to leave. Our goal was to relax and that is what we did. The first half of the week was hit by high tides that washed onto the street we were on. These were made worse by a hurricane way off the coast. The owner called the house to check on us to make sure the we and the property were safe. We had sand in places that weren’t there at the start of the week but we dealt with it as was needed. All the people (Other Owners - coming to check on their properties)we met during the week were very helpful and friendly. The house was awesome and setup for large groups to gather and cook right at the house. Which we took full advantage of. We definitely book again in the future. Props to the owners and the realty people we dealt with during our stay.

Beautiful and babyproofed

I loved the ease of having a home with baby gates installed. We have an 18 month old and that was extremely helpful. The view was gorgeous. We were very happy with the home.

Good location

Extended family of 8 + 1 dog enjoyed our visit. Certainly no shortage of utensils in the kitchen. In fact I think it would be better if they were pared down some. We liked it enough that we plan to rent it again.

Family Thanksgiving

The home is located with only one house between it and the ocean, with ocean views from most every window and deck entrances from three bedrooms and the main floor. The furniture is in great shape and the kitchen is very complete. We made Thanksgiving dinner and lacked nothing for tools, pans, glassware, etc. the game closet and book shelves are chuck full of possibilities in case of inclement weather. We will definitely consider a return stay at Fishin' Friendzy!

Everything at Fishin' Friendzy was exactly as advertised. We were very satisfied with the cleanliness of the house & it had everything you could need. The house is actually closer to the beach than the pictures show so we were excited about that. Will definitely stay here again & would highly recommend this house.

A great family beach house.

This house sits right behind the dune with a great view of the ocean from most of its doors and windows. It is set up well for children and pets. We really appreciated the kid friendly stairway gates, crib, bunkbeds and highchair. The home was well furnished and clean. The dead end street was also good for kids. We caught fish and had a great time walking to the nearby bait shop. The only negative were some neighbors' unleashed large dogs which they allowed to roam when they came to the beach.
