All the comforts of home await when you choose this charming, three-bedroom getaway on the east end of Hatteras Island. Enjoy the salty breeze and sea air from one of three decks, and then head for the beach, just at the end of the street. Inside, you'll find two levels of comfortable living space. The main floor features coastal decor and an open floor plan, combining the full, well-equipped kitchen, dining area, and living room. The chef will love the full suite of appliances and ample counter space, including a standalone kitchen island, and the high-top table provides plenty of mealtime seating. After a day at the beach or community pool, use the outdoor shower to rinse off the sand, then watch a little TV together or retire to the bedrooms, each of which also has a TV. End the night on the top-floor deck, toasting your good luck at booking such a sweet beach escape.

Very nice

The house was great! What we didnt know was that the high tide would flow into the drive way and we would have to drive into 6 of 8 inches of water to get out.

Nice house

I picked this house because of closeness to beach. About 3 weeks before leaving I find out there are huge sandbags at the end of the street. Didn't want to climb over them , so we drove to other beach accesses. There is not many pots and pans, and everything sticks in the pans. We didn't cook at house much due to lack of pans. The bed pillows are very flat, might want to take your own.

Great location

Great property. Wonderful attention to detail. The kitchen was well stocked. Remember to bring your streaming passwords with you. A little weird that the guests were asked to vacuum before they checked out. Bed linen and towels were supplied which isn't the case in many east coast VRBO properties. Beach towels would have been great.

Great Stay!

We’ve stayed from Corolla to Hatteras many times and this house was one of the best! It’s very clean, up to date and has a home like feel. We enjoyed the local restaurants- tavern on 12 and Angelo’s in Buxton and Oceanas in Avon. Even though this area is away from the hustle and bustle around Nags Head, there is still a lot to do! Definitely would recommend it to anyone!
