Super clean rooms, staff were unbelievably friendly and grounds are superb. Thoroughly enjoyable stay, best breakfast I’ve had in any UK hotel and we can’t wait to go back. The spa facilities are clean & well maintained enjoyed by the whole family. Full sports tv package within rooms, England FC themed throughout the hotel and we were able to book an hours football on a trg pitch for no added fee; a great touch to a football themed night away.

The spa facilities and staff were absolutely lovely – everyone we encountered, from reception to the cleaners, waiting staff, and the spa team, was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing. It was not properly cleaned; we found random items such as post it notes on the floor next to the bed and a couple of beer bottle tops on the side, which raised concerns about overall cleanliness. We stayed at the venue for a Christmas Party, but the three-course festive meal was very poor and lacked quality and quantity. Additionally, we ordered room service (a pizza and chicken wings), and both items were inedible and overpriced. While the staff were excellent throughout, the standard of the room and food did not meet expectations.

Great hotel, especially for the football fan. Pool & Spa was lovely to be able to use on the Sunday morning & the staff there were very friendly & helpful. All staff we encountered, whether it be in the restaurant/bar at the reception or just in the lift were polite & helpful. Immaculate hotel, amazing grounds & warm & friendly. We will definitely be back.

Generally a good place to stay , used it for overnight stay at Alton Towers. Breakfast was great , good size bedroom. Hotel showing signs of wear and tear such as peeling wallpaper, marks on the wall, dirty hair dryer and broken mirror in bathroom.
