The place is beautiful and tucked into the woods. I recommend taking a screenshot of the instructions while you have cell service since it cuts in and out when you're that deep in the hills. You have wifi in the room which is great. Loved the property! There's a community kitchen in the lodge for all your cooking needs.

We fell in love with this charming property and would definitely stay again. We knew there was no food, so we brought in dinner, breakfast and snacks. The shared kitchen was enormous, with several large refrigerators, and all appliances, pans, utensils, condiments, etc. that could be needed. The lodge was very comfortable, with 24-hour beverages, games, comfy chairs for reading or chatting, tables and everything needed for a fun evening. The cabins themselves had comfortable beds and everything needed for an enjoyable stay. The 2 windows in my room had a clear view of Mount Mitchell from one, and a forest view with Monet-like qualities (due to the rain) from the other--fun place to wake up! Everyone was friendly and helpful. All in all, we really had a terrific time.
