Inside, the lodge provides an impressive combination of private suites and flexible group sleeping areas. Multiple king suites offer private bathrooms, fireplaces, sitting areas, lake views and direct access to decks or the pool. A massive poolside bunk and party room accommodates a large portion of the group with king, queen, twin and convertible beds, plus direct access to the water and pool.

The loft-style media room offers a 150-inch projector screen, theater seating, surround sound, fireplace, wet bar and additional sleeping space. Guests can also enjoy shuffleboard, ping-pong and other indoor games—making Big Timber an excellent year-round destination, even when the weather keeps everyone inside.

The outdoor setting is exceptional. Spend the day in the lagoon-style pool featuring a slide, waterfalls, diving rock, negative edge and shallow children’s area. Relax in the hot tub, swim or fish from the pier, launch from the jet-ski ramps or enjoy the property’s rope swing and private beach. The expansive turf-covered deck includes swings, lounge seating and picnic tables overlooking Lake LBJ. Pool heating may be requested for an additional charge.

Guests also receive access to Log Country Cove’s shared amenities, including kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, miniature golf, sand volleyball, basketball, water trampoline, children’s playscape and on-site boat ramp. Boat and golf-cart rentals are available.

We couldn't have picked a better place to spend the weekend. There was extensive space around property to spread out to watch the sunset, read a book, lay out by the pool, or watch the game. Additionally, there was amazing gathering spaces to interact with others. From the great room to incredible pool, we were fully entertained with the home itself for the weekend. The entire staff, including the owners, were extremely accommodating to all of our needs throughout the weekend and friendly. Can't wait to come back next year!

The decks, fire pits, pool area are like a resort. We did struggle with turning on some lights, tv’s in bedrooms.. we aren’t that tech savvy! lol. The only other issue was with the rain.. the roof did leak into two of the bedrooms and made the beds wet and dripped on sleeping guests. Otherwise.. great vacation choice!!

The house was perfect the pool was fabulous, the grounds were immaculate. Any problems that arose were handled in minutes. There was so much to do there that not a single person asked "what should we do next. I can't express how much we loved this place. Thankyou for sharing your home. It was the best Reunion ever.
