Room was very clean and comfortable, pillows sucked. Staff at front deck were ok, didnt go out of their way to be friendly. People at the pub were good, Laura D. behind the bar was an excellent representative of your company. Toilet in the room made a whistling noise everytime we flushed it.

The hotel was nice and the staff was friendly. Two restaurants on property which were good . They charged $29 a day resort fee and I have no idea what you get for the money. The spa is open to the public, which is fine, but why am I paying fee for that access. Pool was closed for the season, tennis courts were in disarray. Another hotel gouging their guest with nonsensical resort fees. We would not stay there again.

Visually the resort is stunning, the grounds are beautiful, the attention to detail remarkable and the pool/spa area is amazing. The food in The Lazy Goat was really good especially the Maple Rosemary Chicken Wings. However, the elevator in our building (The Mansion) was broken, we were on the second floor and they did offer to help with our bags. The ice machine was also out of commision and the lobby door needed a little TLC to spruce up the area. It's a little odd that there is no dedicated reception area, I wasn't sure where to go to check in then realised check in is at the same counter as the coffee and pastries. Overall we absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to relax and rejuvinate.

This "resort" is in need of an update. Bathrooms, beds and furnishings all dated and uncomfortable. Old style bath tub with plastic curtain circa 2000. We only ate at the Tavern once. Mediocre at best. Food not hot etc. Located about 20 minutes from downtown Burlington depending on traffic. A resort fee of $30/night/room left a lasting impression. We won't be back.

Very nice place booked on Expedia no one mentioned additional fees. Water took forever to get hot called desk they said we had to run at least 5 minutes to get hot water. Unfortunately Vermont is in middle of drought so not be thing.
