Agressive Manager at this Hotel

Unfortunately, the room was cold through the night with no washcloths, tissue or toilet paper. When we addressed these issues at 9:30 am in the morning at the front desk, they said the hotel had central heating. We told them we were not checking out yet but would by on time at 11am. A few minutes later, the manager forcibly entered out room pushing past the inside door latch. When she saw we were in the room, she did not apologize, say she didn’t know we were there. My daughter and I were in the middle of a private conversation, and luckily- fully clothed. Rather than respecting our privacy, the manager angrily walked across the room to the heater and said she was there because there was a complaint. When you stay at hotel, you should expect to be safe and comfortable and certainly hot harassed by a manager. Given the manager’s arrogance and aggressiveness, I should have just called the police but I didn’t want to escalate the situation.

Room was very small, hard to manuever with two people. We had our bikes with us too and it was very hard to get in and out of the room. The bathroom was much too small, water pressure was low in the shower. The fridge was not cold enough. Basically this place needs an overhaul! Worst part that they don't tell you is the HVAC unit in your room will automatically turn to heat if the temp outside is 45 or less degrees - what about the temp in your room?! That is not set up properly and our room went above 80 degrees!

when I was checking out I asked if I could get something to eat from the breakfast and the white guy probably in his 30s at the desk told me no because it was past 10 am. There were people eating still there and the food was still out. It was 10:20 am. The girl next to him was going to say yes but he said no and told me have a safe trip. I paid almost 400 for a night there and they are denying you to get something for breakfast. I definitely not staying there no more.

The photo only shows an updated lobby. The rooms are older and need attention and updating. Small bathroom, we had no shower curtain. I just didn't feel it was my cup of tea and couldn't wait to leave in the morning.

While the staff here were very friendly, what is pictured on Expedia is not what you get. Room 142 has the worst mattresses. You have to take advil just to get out of bed. To say our room was being cleaned just as we checked in was debatable. The floor was dirty. The lighting in the room was dim. Only a few channels on tv worked and when we put the heat a strong stench of weed came through the heater. I would never stay here again. I feel extremely ripped off. I stayed there because I have stayed at many other quality inn before and not knowing the area and based on photos felt comfortable going.

I rarely leave reviews, but I felt this one was necessary to help others avoid the same mistake we made by choosing this hotel. Quality Inn… we’re still wondering where the quality was. Upon arrival, we were given a key to a room that was already occupied. Thank goodness we’re honest people — we had access to other guests’ belongings! The room we were eventually assigned had a strong smoky, cherry-like odor (despite the no-smoking policy). The floors were visibly dirty, the shower had hair that wasn’t ours, the sheets were stained, and the inside lock was broken. Breakfast was also disappointing — there weren’t even any fruits available, and the options were extremely limited. If we had paid a small amount, it might have been easier to overlook. But at $600 per night, this was completely unacceptable. We were all uncomfortable sleeping there and will definitely not be returning.

My room was not cheap $350 for the night. Walked in and my room and the sheets smelled terrible of smoke. It’s supposed to be a 100% smoke free hotel. It was not. There were other guests smoking outside our room throughout the night. I was there for my daughter’s soccer game and unfamiliar with area so trying to find another hotel for one night was a hassle. I will say the guest service reps at check in were very nice and friendly.

The room was damp and dirty. There was a musty smell. There were dirt and bugs on the floor. The toilet wouldn't flush all the way, the tub was clogged, and we only received one bath towel for two people for a two night stay. I wouldn't recommend at all.

Do not stay here if you are female and alone

This was one of the scariest hotels I’ve ever stayed at as a single woman traveling alone. My door had clearly been broken into and not repaired. There was no toilet paper in my room. The shower was cracked and falling apart. It was extremely loud at night and smelled like cigarette smoke everywhere. The outdoor access to the rooms was concerning when I was cat called walking to my door. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone I know.

Try a different option

Staff: the African American woman, the receptionist, she was very accommodating. Very pleasant and quick service. Room: the initial walk in, it smelled of dust and cigarette smoke. So thick to the point I had to spray perfume to mask the smell. It was terrible. Cleanliness: the bathroom had a dead spider in the shower, and an already used roll in the bathroom. That was pleasant. Continental breakfast. They only serve waffles, cereal, muffins and juice/ water. Not worth it at all. All carbs, no protein. Checking out: checking out was very pleasant however, it was an older Caucasian woman at 11:08 AM was banging on someone door saying “ you didn’t pay, it’s time for checkout”. As a hospitality worker or manager, that is no way acceptable that should’ve transpired. Maybe the occupants was in the shower or overslept, no way you should be banging on a persons door 8 minutes after check out time. I would rate this hotel a 2/5. I won’t book another night here.
