Well maintained and characteristic property with exposed beams and period features combined with modern decor and facilities. The only thing to be aware of is there is no shower in either bathroom (likely due to low ceilings), although both have a mixer tap with a showerhead so you can sit / kneel and shower this way.
Whilst its proximity to the road is close, it was not a busy road, so passing traffic was not an issue during our stay. There was a pub within 1min walk of the property that also served food which is very welcoming.
The location does mean you are at least 15min from any shops, so it's well worth bringing essentials (bread , milk etc ) with you so you can settle in first.
The garden is raised , so you need to climb up a few steps to access and get to the picnic table area
