We like the being able to walk down to elmwood av and finding places to eat. If i stayed again I'd want 2nd floor so i wouldn't have to hear people walking around.

Lovely little hotel in a nice section of buffalo. The key pad access is a bit challenging until you get the hang of it. Help is immediately available via call. Interiors are delightfully decorated- lush,interesting, comfortable.

Check in was all done virtually and responses via text were prompt. We stayed in the Madison (on the first floor) and our room was lovely. The bed was huge, and comfortable, and the shower was great.

This place was fabulous. We stayed in The Madison and it was beautiful, cozy and chic. Would absolutely stay again. Very reasonable price for the area. If you are someone who needs a front desk and lots of attention to check-in/out, you won't get it here. Instead everything is done electronically which suits me fine, it's very efficient and they know what they're doing. If you need anything, you can call or text the manager and they are very responsive. They email and/or text you your codes about an hour before check-in and it works beautifully. The instructions are very simple to follow. The only 2 things I didn't love, and this is personal to me YMMV, the rain shower was very pleasant but fixed into place and not at all adjustable, however, if you're very tall you will love it! Also I personally don't like one side of the bed up against the wall, but that's just me so take that with a grain of salt. Overall 5 stars.

Quiet, cozy hideaway

Very cool hotel! It almost felt like we were staying at a friend's house because the room had a very cozy feel with cool furniture and even a fireplace. Check in was easy. The only tiny drawback was that we were on the first floor and could hear the people upstairs walking around. We didn't hear their tv or anyone talking though. It was otherwise quiet and we slept great. Overall, it was a 10 out of 10 and we'd definitely stay there again!
