Spacious and bright loft-style apartment fully equipped for short-term rental, located in the city center on Av. de Mayo, between the National Congress and the Casa Rosada, in an area surrounded by bars, pubs, and restaurants, including the renowned Café Tortoni. Just two blocks from 9 de Julio Avenue and five blocks from Corrientes Avenue, where you can enjoy excellent tango shows, countless fashion boutiques, and a wide variety of public transportation options in every direction.
It’s just around the corner from San Telmo, where you can enjoy remarkable bars, restaurants, shows, and iconic shops that have been around for well over a hundred years, such as Farmacia Estrella, Librería del Colegio, or the famous Café Tortoni.

This apartment is located in one of the city’s most picturesque historic buildings (1893), a structure designated as a City Historic Landmark known as “Cubo Drabble.” It was originally a hotel (Chacabuco Mansions Hotel) and one of the tallest buildings in the city. The building continues to house owners and tenants who love not only its location but also the charm of its early-century tango-era grandeur. The fully renovated apartment is ideal for three to four people and is equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay in Buenos Aires. It is bright, elegant, with hardwood floors and a view of the street. The living/dining room features a sofa bed (1.20 x 2.00), side tables, an LCD TV, air conditioning, cable TV, Wi-Fi, and a high table with chairs for four people. The kitchen is open to the dining area and is equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, electric stove, electric oven, coffee maker, toaster, range hood, a full set of porcelain tableware, and stainless steel cookware. The bathroom has a shower stall, a vanity with a sink, and a full-length mirror. On the upper level of the apartment is the bedroom, featuring a double bed (1.60 x 2.00), air conditioning, ceiling fans, a closet, nightstands, a safe, a full set of linens, and towels.

The apartment was beautiful and suited all of my needs for my two week stay there. The central location was extremely helpful for getting around the city. The hosts were friendly, communicative and extremely helpful.

This loft is situated perfectly to sightsee and explore Buenos Aires! it's just the perfect place for any couple looking to have both an exciting and romantic time in the heart of Buenos Aires. Great attention from the host, comfort in all the rooms and beautiful architecture!

What a great find!! This loft was so cozy and charming in the center of Buenos Aires! We were within walking distance of many local restaurants, a grocery store, Casa Rosada and Obelisk and other iconic landmarks, as well as Subte subway stations. It was easy to get around the city by foot, train, bus, or Uber from this spot! The team coordinating our visit was very responsive, with recommendations and support in advance of and throughout the trip. We stayed for a week and wish we could have stayed even longer! You real feel part of the city here.

Clean and courteous

The apartment would need a bit of a freshen up even if very clean , it would require brightening up with new paint job, and fixing some light pluming water adjustments in the toilet. Definitely a place for no more than two persons. Small bathroom.Not the most comfortable place on the planet but you get what you pay for. Entrance and building corridor also in deteriorating conditions. Nonetheless charming environment perhaps not more than a week. Outstanding support by landlord, and maintenance staff.
