The SLS Puerto Madero Hotel invested heavily in its external appearance and in a single top-tier amenity (the gym), but visibly cut costs on the internal structure of the apartments and the furniture. The poor soundproofing (due to internal drywall walls) and the discomfort of the furniture mean the stay falls short of expectations and does not justify the price. Furthermore, a service failure (ignoring the promised welcome bottle of wine) was an unacceptable lapse. If your absolute priority is a state-of-the-art gym (with Technogym equipment), the hotel might be worthwhile. Otherwise, if you are looking for comfort, quiet, and attentive service, the experience will likely be frustrating.

Beautiful hotel in Puerto Madero

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Puerto Madero. Close proximity to a wide variety of restaurants and landmarks. The service was impeccable even though my stay was short. I wish I was there longer to take advantage of more amenities. The staff packed me a to go breakfast since my flight was leaving before breakfast hours which was a nice touch.

Very noisy rooms, you could hear the conversations of the adjoining rooms and very close building under construction. Same experience in the spa, noisy and not very good. Rooms not very clean and very average food quality. Not the SLS experience that one expects price/quality. I wouldn't go back. Great Hotel in every aspect. We have stayed here twice and loved it. Feels like home away from home. The only criticism I can think of is there was a young lady at the reception counter who delt with our check in and check out. She didn't seem very confident in here role and was rude to her offsides at the front desk who tried to help her. This added a lot of extra time to checking in and out.
