The SLS Puerto Madero Hotel invested heavily in its external appearance and in a single top-tier amenity (the gym), but visibly cut costs on the internal structure of the apartments and the furniture. The poor soundproofing (due to internal drywall walls) and the discomfort of the furniture mean the stay falls short of expectations and does not justify the price. Furthermore, a service failure (ignoring the promised welcome bottle of wine) was an unacceptable lapse. If your absolute priority is a state-of-the-art gym (with Technogym equipment), the hotel might be worthwhile. Otherwise, if you are looking for comfort, quiet, and attentive service, the experience will likely be frustrating.

Amazing customer service from the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out. We were upgraded but ended up liking our original booked room more so they were able to move us to the room we want.
