I am extremely disappointed with my stay at Regal Pacific Buenos Aires. For a hotel that claims to be a 5-star establishment, the experience was subpar and frankly insulting. 1. Discriminatory Service: The most upsetting part was the front desk's attitude. I witnessed staff being incredibly friendly and helpful to white, English-speaking guests, yet when it came to us, they suddenly "struggled" to understand English and treated us with cold dismissal. We paid the full price for our stay, but the staff made us feel like we were begging for a place to sleep. This level of unprofessionalism and bias is unacceptable. 2. Room Discrepancy and Poor Quality: We booked and paid for a triple room, expecting three beds. Instead, we were given a room with only two beds. When we brought this up, the response was unhelpful. Furthermore, the rooms are very outdated, the furniture is old, and the lighting is incredibly dim, making the space feel gloomy and uncomfortable. 3. Greedy Baggage Policy: We checked out for one night to travel and returned to stay again as "repeat guests." Even so, the hotel insisted on charging us $3 USD per item for luggage storage. I have traveled the world and stayed in many 5-star hotels, and I have never encountered a premium hotel that "nickels and dimes" its returning guests for baggage storage. It shows a complete lack of hospitality. The only positive thing about this hotel is its location. However, location cannot make up for the rude service

Problems wc/bathroom that we noticed after unpacking already .They fixed after 4hrs . Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The staff were unfriendly, breakfast quality was very poor, and the pool hours were not practical. I also reached out regarding shuttle services a week prior to arrival and didn’t receive a response until after my stay, which reflects poorly on their reliability.

For breakfast, coffee is great, other food lack of variety and not the freshest. Lots of fruits but some are not too fresh and not really tasty. Honey cone is great. Light meals from the bar is not so tasty. Room is spacious, and bed is comfortable. The “smart” lighting system is very confusing. The shower only has the overhead big shower, not the handheld system, a bit inconvenient but water has good pressure and good temperature control.

The beds are horrible. Not comfortable at all, the whole bed shakes if you move. Outdated carpet and furnishings. Also, they had a private event on one of the nights and there was blaring music till after 2:00 am. You could hear that loud and clear at 11th floor. I did not pay for that. On the positive note, the staff is very nice and helpful!

Regal Pacific Downtown is a solid choice for anyone looking for comfort and convenience in the heart of the city. The rooms are clean and well maintained, offering a quiet retreat despite the central location. The complimentary breakfast is decent and provides a nice start to the day, and the small lounge area adds a cozy touch for relaxing or unwinding in the evening. The hotel also features a nice outdoor pool, perfect for a refreshing break after a day of exploring. The location is one of its strongest points—right downtown and just a few blocks from great shopping. It’s also only a short 15–20 minute cab ride from many of the city’s main hotspots, making it easy to get around without hassle. Overall, a comfortable and conveniently located stay with good value.
