We loved this small hotel, it is in a great location ideal for lots of nice restaurants and bars. The service was very personal and all of the staff friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and a bit of an oasis in the bustle of Buenos Aires. We would highly recommend this hotel.

A stylish boutique hotel in a 19th century Buenos Aires house, a calm atmosphere in this busy city. Peaceful spotless bedroom. Our experience was incredibly positive from before we arrived for this stay (which is our second this year). The Krista staff booked us a table at Buenos Aires Verde vegetarian restaurant around the corner from the hotel-a welcome change from steak. Early breakfast the next morning in the beautiful breakfast room was delicious with great scrambled eggs. Most outstanding are the gentle and helpful staff who made a real effort to go ‘the extra mile’ during both of our stays at the Krista. We hope to be back one day.

The staff were extremely friendly abd helpful and the hotel is in a great location for bars and restaurants in trendy Palermo Hollywood. The rooms were comfortable but ours was on the small side and the shower pressure was not great. The reception area is nice but other facilities such as the hot tub could do with a bit of TLC.

It was an excellent service. They helped us with breakfast Atatatatatatat Five AM we only stayed overnight because we had a continuing flight. We love everything about this place. The staff is amazing, friendly and so helpful. The neighborhood is young and fashionable with great shopping, amazing food and fun nightlife.

We spent 2 nights here before traveling to Bariloche and came back for our last night in Argentina. Highly recommended for a quiet, comfortable stay in a lively (but from our experience safe) area with a multitude of places to eat and drink. Full of old world charm and history. The staff we met: Alejandro and Carmen were charmingly helpful - going above and beyond with advice to make our stay memorable and highly enjoyable. Conveniently located close to 93 bus stop for Recoleta ( approx 25 mins) and San Telmo (approx 40 mins). Also a delicious breakfast including great coffee and smiles. PS - super bakery almost next door!

Good value boutique hotel

Overall this was excellent value booked on a pay in advance, no refund basis. The staff were all quite charming and went out of their way to be helpful and for this reason I give them 5 stars. There are other areas that could be improved e.g. the fruit salad at breakfast never varied and comprised mostly apple with some orange plus a minute amount of kiwi, plum and grapefruit. Fine if you were first down to breakfast but then the variation had all gone! On our last day there was only the lady receptionist who was having to check people out as well as look after the breakfast room which was too much for one person. Two of our 7 nights stay were spoiled by a couple in an adjoining room coming back in the small hours of the night and making a noise. There was an adjoining door to their room and so little sound deadening plus the bathroom fans seem to be made up of parts from the Boeing parts bin. A nice little hotel which could be improved without a great effort.

We stayed one night and had a very late the night that we had checked out and the staff let us have a late check out and allowed us to wait comfortably in the hotel with tea and coffee while we waited to go to the airport.

Felt like a second home

This hotel was exactly what I was looking for. The staff were so accommodating and it truly felt like a home away from home. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, the shower never ran out of hot water. The breakfast was excellent - homemade juices, fresh croissants and coffee and freshly cut fruit. The only reason I took off a star is because the hotel was near restaurants but pretty far from main attractions in downtown Buenos Aires. With that being said however, I would stay here again.
