We really enjoyed our stay here. The accommodations were clean & comfortable. It was very convenient to be right in town & the desk staff were helpful & friendly. Breakfast was basic, but good. We happened to stay there on a holiday weekend & the streets were loud at night. That was the only drawback, but certainly not the hotel’s fault. We would definitely recommend.

Great location within walking distance to the port - easy access for those (like me) arriving via boat from Montevideo. Walkable to the Pink House, the Obelisk, and right around the corner from the San Telmo Street Fair on Sunday. Room was upgraded (win) but cold - small heater in the corner no match for the size of the room. Unless you are traveling with a group there is no need to get the larger space. Staff strangely would not loan me an iron and tried to upsell me instead on their laundry services (I was not in need of a laundry but simply a small iron for a dress shirt to visit the symphony). Never had that happen before in any hotel in the world. Restaurant staff was rude.
