Comfy Hotel with an Excellent Staff!

This was my first trip to Buenos Aires with a group of friends, so I felt very welcomed upon staying in this hotel for the past 3 weeks. The staff were super friendly and provided great service, such as cleaning the rooms, providing breakfast every morning, and helping me request for the remis cabs. I had a memorable time and would love to stay here again when I plan my next Argentina trip!

Central and Spacious

Being a single traveler I often get tiny rooms but at Hotel De La Ville provided a little more breathing room, with a balcony facing Avenida 9 de Julio, Buenos Aires' main street and supposedly the widest street in the world. Buenos Aires is a very cosmopolitan city with all the trimmings, good and bad, as in any other major capital city.

Convenient & Welcoming

The hotel's in an excellent location near to the Plaza de la Republica, a short walk to Plaza de Mayo, near to the underground system, and a walkable distance to Recoleta and Puerto Madera. Nice older style building with high ceilings, rooms a little tired but fine for the price. Rooms at the front have noise from the 16 lanes (+ bus lanes) of traffic outside, and first floor rooms have noise from the bar below which closes at 5:00am. Staff very, very helpful, and breakfast is adequate enough to give you a start for the day. Would stay again!

We stayed there for three nights: - very friendly staff - good beds - location very central BUT there is a bar right below the hotel playing very loud music until 5 am every night, our room was directly above... - the wifi only worked occasionally

Very nice rustic hotel in the central part of city

This is a nice rustic hotel with very high ceilings, old wooden floors, but modern plumbing. The breakfast spread was very good served in old fashioned tea cups and dishes, complete with cloth napkins and silver. Impressive for a Bed and breakfast type hotel. This place only has 8 rooms they told me. My only complaint was our room faced the main street so we had a lot of noise from the street, and bright light at night. Otherwise it was perfect. They have airconditioning which is very quiet.

Foi Lamentável ter escolhido esse hotel, não é um hotel, é uma casa com quartos, o café da manhã foi o pior de qualquer hotel que tenha me hospedado na vida, o wifi não existe, a localização é boa, mas já na chegada a impressão é a pior possivel, é uma portinha com uma escadaria, não tem elevador, não existe acessibilidade, como peguei uma época que choveu, deu para constatar várias goteiras no hotel, aliás, não é um hotel, não ofereçam, podem se incomodar com isso, antes de colocarem no site deviam fazer uma avaliação no local.

Tuvimos muy mala experiencia en este hotel, se promociona tres estrellas y esto es mentira no es mas que un hostel, es un hotel muy viejo, uno de los colchones pesimo, mal estado de pintura bano y muy mal trato, a pesar de promocionar con desayuno dijeron que no estaba incluido. No deben vender lo que no es.

Escolhi o Hotel de la Ville pela localização e bom preço. Como, ao fazer turismo, eu passo mais tempo na rua do que no hotel, não busquei instalações luxuosas. O hotel é bastante simples. O quarto é uma cama de casa, um televisão na parede e um armário embutido. A cama é bastante boa. O banheiro possui chuveiro quente e funcionou adequadamente. O ambiente é bastante limpo. Ambiente sem cigarro. Possui um café-da-manhã bastante honesto: por pessoa, dois croissants, duas torradas, leite, café e suco de laranja a vontade. Os funcionários foram todos muito simpáticos e solícitos. A localização do hotel é excelente. Recomendo.

Personale gentilissimo e cordiale,hotel in centro a due passi dalla metro molto comodo per ogni spostamento.Unico difetto:la nostra camera era difronte all'avenida 9 julio e il traffico è davvero pazzesco notte e giorno e non si riesce a dormire bene per il resto era tutto molto soddisfacente colazione pulizia della stanza e cordialità

Bom para viagens curtas

Ficamos no quarto que aparece nas fotos do hotel, grande e tem até uma entresala, o casal que viajava conosco não teve a mesma sorte e ficou no quarto ao lado que é bem pequeno. Conservação do hotel poderia ser melhor visto que o predio é antigo e mantem as caracteristicas originais. Não tem elevador e o pé direito é bem alto... café é fraquinho, quase inexistente, esta bem localizado ao lado do Obelisco o que é bom para sair e chegar mas tb é um problema pela manhã visto que o trânsito intenso começa as 5:30 hs, o atendimento da recepção é excelente, foi o diferencial... Recomendo este hotel para passagens rápidas.

Buen hotel, por el precio, muy buena atención del personal, muy buena ubicacion en el centro de la ciudad. El único problema es que la entrada está en un primer piso, con escalera muy empinada y sin ascensor. Si viaja con mucho equipaje, busque un hotel con una entrada más accesible.

charmigt hotell mitt i smeten

Hotellet är i en jättefin gammal byggnad, med väldigt högt i tak. Hotellet är mycket charmigt, på ett Argentinskt vis. Inte svensk standard, men fint och charmigt. Personalen är mycket trevlig och hjälpsam. Fulla med tips på vad man kan göra. Läget är väldigt bra då det är nära till det mesta.
