We stayed in the Double Deluxe room with balcony and it was absolutely amazing. The room is decorated with so much love and a perfect mix of modern and classic style. Personally, the balcony with an amazing view of the city was my highlight. The room was clean and we were offered free tea, coffee, water and a small bottle of champagne. Room service will be provided daily, if you want to. The reception is open 24/7 and the staff is very friendy and will give you recommendations whenever you need. The hotel is located right in the city centre and the building is pure art - from the outside and inside. Just walking from the massive frontdoor up to the reception is breathtaking, if you are into arts and architecture. The building is around 100 years old of course it might need a little bit of maintenance here and there, but I absolutely loved walking through the huge hallway, up the stairs and through the corridors because there is so much art to see. If I ever come back to Budapest, I'd stay there again for sure.

The location is perfect for walking the historic sights in Pest and Buda. The staff are very helpful. The hotel is a former palace and the rooms and sitting areas are newly renovated.

The once-grand lobby and Soviet-era elevator have seen better days, but once you are on the rooms floor it’s a great boutique hotel. Our room had a stunning view of historic buildings and the hills across the river. Comfy beds, thoughtful staff and amenities. Very grand building exterior. A wonderful experience.

The hotel is a bit hard to find at first since you have to access several doors to find the reception. The elevator is small. The rooms are simple and could use a bit of a deep cleaning. The view from the balcony is wonderful however. The staff was nice and friendly. Internet was so slow and at times not available at all due to poor connectivity. Bathrooms are very very small just be aware. If you are staying solo probably doable. The interior of the building is very beautiful however and really lovely. Loved the free coffee and tea.

I stayed on level 4, room with balcony. Location is good, central and close to public transport, city centre and a lot of tourist attractions. Beware - The place has a lift… after you’ve climbed 3 long flights of stairs, so beware if your suitcase is heavy. Also their wifi is the worst I have ever experience, signal has 1-2 bars and constantly disconnects and drops out. Can barely use my own data as the building has poor signal. Room - very spacious with a balcony looking out to the beautiful buildings of Budapest. Bathroom - cramped but enough for 1 person, I am 50kg and 5’1 and the shower was squashy. Bed - large, comfortable. Pillows had very high profile, not my preference as it hurts my neck, so I ended up using my own travel pillow. Amenities - reception is 24-7 which is great. - laundry is in house for 4000f between 8-8pm and they do it for you, basically reception just puts it in the wash, then the dryer and takes it out. My load was not properly checked if it dried and some items were still damp. - bike hire available in house - coffee pod machine and tea available in room, they also gave me a half bottle of sparkling wine on check in with some chocolates. This was nice, sadly I don’t drink though.

Super hotel and great location

Hotel is on top floor of a very old building, so very quiet. Location is close to Elizabeth bridge which is perfect for exploring both sides of the river by foot or metro. Lots of good restaurants close by. Hotel arranged our airport transfers. Highly recommended.
