Ruined vacations!
Horrible customer service and no accountability.
While the hotel itself is relatively clean, the hotel staff is beyond incompetent and does not care about the clients.
We booked well in advance the hotel and we specified that we needed access to the room's freezer to store medication that is vital to a family member. They told us in advance that they would be able to do so. However when we arrived, they misplaced the medication and never placed it in the freezer, causing it to go bad. This was very bad as the medication is required for the health of my family member and had the effect of cutting our trip short and we had to spend a lot of money to fly back home earlier than anticipated.
When we confronted them, they never took accountability for their actions and never offered us anything more than a cheap 30 euro room upgrade. This was beyond insulting as their error costed us thousands of dollars. They flat out refused to take the blame and never offered us a refund even if it was clearly their fault. They even refused to engage in a dialog with the Hotels.com staff. This sort of behaviour is beyond unacceptable and shows that amateurs run this hotel. I would advice against staying in this hotel as they truly do not care about the wellbeing or their clients and make absolutely no efforts to take accountability and try to resolve truly important health challenges that occur because of their incompetence.
