Our first visit to Budapest and staying at Corinthia was the highlight of our trip. We received a complimentary upgrade as part of expedia's VIP programme and we received some lovely treats for my husbands birthday. The hotel staff were very friendly and really helpful. We REALLY enjoyed access to the exclusive lounge as part of our upgrade, lots of complimentary food and drink options. The spa is really beautiful and was a lovely treat after a long day exploring the city. Although, pricey I would highly recommend the breakfast - it was definitely worth it and we were sad we had to leave so early for our flight we missed our last morning of breakfast - although reception did kindly offer to provide us with some takeaway breakfast for our journey. My only non 5 star point is the local area to the hotel, we were in a room front facing and the traffic and people noise from the main road outside made it difficult to sleep both nights, it was constant and never quietened down. Although not the hotel's fault just something to bear in mind when booking - might be worth requesting a room to the back of the hotel. I would highly recommend and would love to stay here again - Thank you for a wonderful 1st experience in Budapest!

Beautiful , comfortable hotel in a great location. We booked the room with spa access and glad was able to spend some time in this amazing pool and facilities. We would love to stay again if we visit Budapest again for sure. Service was also exceptional!

Hotel Corinthia was amazing. The staff here are wonderful. The morning breakfast had so many options, even local Hungarian cuisine and drinks. We LOVED the spa & executive lounge. Zelle in the lounge was so kind and accommodating. The rooms were very comfortable. All around amazing stay - When we come back to Budapest, we will absolutely stay here again.

A beautiful location, but not up to par in several areas. Every day it was something with housekeeping. No towels, no kleenex, garbage not emptied, floors not attended to. The phone did not work and the room was freezing. We ate in the restaurant one night and food was sub par. The breakfast buffet is worth the price. We had dinner one evening in Caviar & Bull. It exceeded our expectations.

The staff at the reception and the head chef Stefano could not have done more for us and my family. The reception staff were very accommodating to the fact I am pregnant and my family were vegan. Although we had some issues in the first few days these were resolved quickly. A really big special mention to head chef Stefano he really was able to make breakfast and the food in the lounge special for my family considering they are vegan so really big special mention. Room for improvement could be the staff at the lounge we seemed to receive different service to everyone else and when we asked a question it seemed like the end of the world! As well as this the food at the lounge could be improved as for vegetarians there was one thing a day.

The moment we walked into the hotel we felt a breath of fresh air. The hotel has a charming atmosphere and felt so open and airy. Even though it’s quite a large hotel in didn’t feel crowded at all even though I was told was very busy. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and everything was fresh. Bedrooms were a bit dated but were clean and large. The spa was an extra bonus and enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. The staff were really friendly and polite and nothing was too much trouble. Definitely give this hotel a 10/10. Thank you for making our stay lovely.
