The property was really nice, clean, staff was very helpful and patient, the lobby was nice and big, they offered breakfast for a price. The hotel is within walking distance to restaurants and a 5 minute walk to the Chain bridge to the Pest side, where there are many places to see and eat. The only negative is the A/c does not work very well, it barely keeps the room cool and in hot weather it's useless.

Very good location, a short walking distance away from many tourist attractions. The room had air conditioning and a safe, it was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent. We would definitely stay here again.

High quality hotel adjacent to the castle

Excellent hotel directly across the street from the castle! Super friendly front desk staff who helped arrange our taxi to and from the airport and to the Sziget music festival (which we were in town for).

Best part of the hotel was the location. Most of the city attractions are at a walkable distance. Hotel staff were friendly and gave overall good service. Room size was relatively smaller than we expected.

The room was fine and the property was fine. Really big problem - on check in we were informed that the air-conditioning was not working and the temperature was in the 90s. We were told it would be fixed next week, which does not do a lot of good. We asked if they at least had a fan and were told they did not. The staff was friendly and offered to comp us with free breakfast but that really did not make it right given that we had to suffer for a few nights in miserable heat. We opened the window, but it did not really cool down the room, but did add noise that kept us awake most of the night. If not for that the room was ADEQUATE, but certainly not nice. I would not come back to this hotel and will look at Carlton brand with skepticism in the future.

Nice Gem

This place is a lovely gem in the “Buda” area of Budapest! The staff was really attentive and helpful. The room could use nicer bedding, but overall it was okay. The breakfast daily was fantastic, and it had lots of options for everyone. I highly recommend this location.
