Spacious bed & bath rooms. Main bed too hard for my old back. Towels could do with a replace. Kitchen facilities great except needs a pair of tongs & a veggie peeler. Wifi didn't work but host tried her best. Provider issue. Washing machine great. Hosts instructions and quick responses were excellent.

Great location! Check-in process sounded complicated when I got the instructions, but it was actually very straightforward and smooth. It was great to have a washing machine.But... we stayed for several days, and our access to the internet was highly unreliable. We would be able to connect occasionally, but then would lose the connection. For long periods, we would not be able to connect at all.A LOT of time was spent going back and forth with the host about this, cutting into my vacation time. She indicated that she was in frequent contact with the internet service provider, and several times assured it that it should have been fixed, but it never stayed fixed for long (except the last 24 hours or so). There was nothing wrong with our device settings or equipment, as we had speedy and reliable internet at our next stop.Tech issues can happen, and the host did get back to me each time I reached out to report an outage. But this went on for many days, and given the disruption it caused to our visit, I cannot give this stay more than three stars overall. If, after several days of little or no service, someone had come to the apartment to get to the bottom of this issue (a failing router or modem?), I would have given credit for that. But frequent assurances that it was being fixed, when it actually was not, were ultimately just frustrating and aggravating.

A great base for exploring Budapest

This property is the perfect base for exploring Budapest. It's located in an apartment building tucked just off a Main Street yet quiet and secluded. It was very hot during our stay so we really appreciated the air conditioning. The two room layout with a nice sized bathroom and small kitchen was good for our needs and we enjoyed our stay.

Quaint apartment close to everything

The apartment was in an xcellent location. A short walk to the parliament building and ST. Stephen’s cathedral. The term that runs along the river could be picked up at the parliament building. The apt itself was clean and in a quaint residential building. Grocery store was about 50 meters away. Our only reasons for not rating it 5 stars are:As seniors, we found the bed too low and the towels could use some fabric softener..Other than that we has a nice time. We suggest getting a transportation pass for the length of your stay since you can go anywhere in Budapest using public transport. Also, the nighttime view of the river is worth catching.

Nice and convenient apartment in the center of Budapest

We stayed for 5 nights. This apartment is large and equipped with all necessary stuff including washing machine and air conditioner. It's location allows to walk to some Budapest's attractions and easily reach others using public transportation. The host Simone helped us a lot answering our questions in timely manner.

2 of us stayed for 4 nights in June Apartment is easy to find with the directions given by the host. It is located in a quiet, secure courtyard 15-20 minute walk from the terminus of the 100e bus from the airport. Great location with lots of attractions reachable on foot. The Metro is 5mins walk away for longer journeys. Plenty of space, although you have to walk through one bedroom to get to the other. Adequately equipped with grocery stores nearby. Aircon was very effective. Great value for money. I would recommend.

Had a little mix up at the beginning b/c we were sent an incorrect address, but that was resolved fairly quickly. The internet was very sketchy, which caused somewhat of a problem in trying to go online to confirm reservations, etc. The space was "spacious." Extra beds were a bit of a problem b/c the mattresses overlapped the bed on both sides--my wife fell out of bed twice.

Convenient location for large size apartment

Host Simone has been easy to communicate with. We appreciated spaciousness of apartment & provision of some basic supplies. Supermarkets nearby & convenient for us self-caterers. Attractions & eateries are mostly within walking distance. Improving the water pressure would be an enhancement but we managed. Would be happy to stay again if ever in area another time.

Location was excellent. It is very close to the metro, to bus stops and to shopping. There is a Lidl grocery store and an Asian mart very nearby. As well as a nice bakery and money changer are steps away. Rooms were spacious and clean. The bathroom is also large and spacious and appears to have been recently renovated. Simone was very prompt in responding to emails. Since we are from Canada, we found the nights a bit warm so had to use the A/C for a few hours to cool down the room. But unfortunately, the condensate from the A/C created a mess in the passageway outside the apartment and the neighbours knocked on our door and complained. I had to place a bucket under the drain pipe. But I'm sure this will be fixed as I pointed it out to the gentleman who came to clear the apartment. All in all, I would highly recommend this place to stay. Excellent location, convenient to public transportation and shopping and comfortable. Thank you Simone

The apartment was great, large, high ceilings, nice and warm in the winter.It is in a courtyard so it's very quiet and safe. The location is excellent, close to a beautiful shopping centre and the metro as well as bus stopsIt's also near the Basilica so lots to see and do in the vicinity.We would return.

Great apartment location cannot be beat

Location of this property is excellent. The M3 is a few steps away. There’s a Spar, Lidl, DM and a great bakery on the same block. The apartment has a lift which is great. The listing was very accurate. Communication with the host was good. We were here for four weeks and it felt like home. Highly recommend.

The roomy apartment is in a great center of city location - near the west train terminal, a hugh, 3-story shopping mall with food court, a pharmacy, a Lidl grocery market, a money exchange office (don’t use the plentiful ATMs), and numerous small cafes, restaurants, bars and bakeries. 10 min walk to the Parliament Bldg or 20 min to Margaret Bridge center.
