The Mercure is conveniently located and delightfully maintained. All of the staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms were pleasant, clean, and had nice amenities for travelers. I dined at the restaurant for breakfast and several other meals and found it to be of good quality. Definitely recommend!

We arrived extremely late (5am after a missed flight and delays). My mother is elderly and we were offered no help with luggage. The front desk staff seemed annoyed we were so late, I called ahead but further delays occurred so I understand that would be annoying waiting for us. On the plus side the hotel was very clean. Housekeeping staff were super friendly. The breakfast was excellent, the restaurant staff was very helpful and friendly. There is parking for an additional fee which I recommend as there would be no where else to park. In the heart of old town bit still very quiet. Check out was a much more friendly experience with a different staff member. I would chose a different hotel on the next Bucharest visit. The cold welcome was not a good start to our trip.

Lovely newish facility well maintained. Appreciate the Mercure’s efforts at being eco- friendly. The clerk who checked us in comped the mini bar, which was appreciated, although when getting to our room we found the bar was significantly under stocked. Also although we booked the room for 2 adults there was only one robe and one pair of slippers. On the second day of our stay the room was not cleaned nor coffee/tea restocked and dirty dishes removed. Plan on returning to Bucharest someday, but likely won’t stay at the Mercure.
