Location: Alarka, Bryson City- 4WD/AWD required. Not motorcycle friendly.

Mountain Driving & Access: Mountain roads—both paved and gravel—can be steep, narrow, and winding. While part of the mountain charm, they require extra caution. Vehicle requirements (4WD, AWD, or FWD) are listed on each cabin page. Please feel free to call our team before booking or arrival if you have any access questions!

Navigation Note: Mountain GPS can be inaccurate. Once we receive your full payment and signed rental agreement, we will provide reliable turn-by-turn directions to guide you right to the door.

I’m an avid backpacker and can attest the views from the house rival many you see on trail. The cabin is a quick hop to Bryson City and Silva; both with ample breweries and shopping. Definitely worth a stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a beautiful house we stayed in, not far from Bryson City. Everything seemed new. Spacious and relaxing. Loved that there were TWO king beds. The only issue was on the last day, we had no water. Best guess was the pipes froze since it was so cold the night before. However you would think that the pipes would be better insulated if one was renting in December. No showers, teeth brushing or pottying(three small boys) made the last day very challenging. When we called the emergency number, no one answered. When we finally got a hold of someone in the office, their response was - well we have no control over the weather.
