They are doing pretty much everything right at The Federal. The place is elegant and modern, the rooms are lovely and the restaurant is fantastic. We were surprised to find such a sophisticated hotel in Brunswick, and would happily stay there again. The only thing I wish they had was coffee in the room, but it was easy to walk down the hall to the coffee station by the elevator,

Excellent value for the money. Parking was convenient. room was clean. Could use higher quality sheets. Could use a coffee maker and tea pot in the room. Layout of bathroom (Room 202) was poor. Door opened almost all the way to sink counter making it difficult to get into the room. A slider may be a good alternative. Gym could use an upgrade. Lacks a spin bike and elliptical. Would probably replace the rower with one or both.

Very nice Hotel. In house restaurant is very nice and very good. We stayed in a suite that had a living room area that is separated from the bedroom. The bathroom has a large bath tub with a very large walk in shower with a separate room where the toilet and sink is at. Living room and bedroom have their own Tv. Bed was comfy with large body like pillows.

Great hotel and our room is wonderful. Only issue is that that hotel did not say that their restaurant and bar are closed on Monday and Tuesday. Very disappointed in that as I was looking forward to treating my wife to a wonderful meal and evening. Headed to Byrne's Irish Bar near train station and were blessed with live Irish music from 6 to 8 on Tuesday.

Room was comfortable, biggest downside was that there was no coffee in the room. I had to be on the road early and there was no coffee in the lobby either, which was disappointing. Other than that, a quality stay. I’ll definitely stay again!
