Friendly staff and nice room. Short walk to lighthouse (hence the name) across the street. Right next to the pier, restaurants, and shops. Our new go to place to stay for visits to St. Simons and Jekyll islands.

Location is great. Room is tired and dirty. Mildew on bathroom walls, plumbing fixtures broken. Hangers on the wall where there used to be pictures. Breakfast is leftover grocery store bagels and a toaster.

Breakfast was unrated, it was just too crowded in the small breakfast area. This hotel is considered a boutique property so expect things to be downsized. Lower level parking is very tight but convenient. The staff is top notch. Very enjoyable stay.

We love staying here but this time took our dog. There are 2 pet friendly rooms but on the 3rd floor. Elevator goes to the 2nd floor, go all the way down to the end of the hall, open a heavy metal door, up two flights of stairs (16 steps) to the 2 rooms. Door is noisy when opening/ closing. Exhausting when taking your luggage up. Will stay there again but NOT with dogs.
